MountDev Ops Workspace documentation | Updated October 7, 2026
The Usage button in the menu shows what your company has used this month, grouped by product and by website, next to what is included with what you pay for now. Open it any time to see what your next bill will be.
Included, Never a Limit
Nothing you use is ever limited. Every product includes an amount each month as part of its price. Going past it never stops, slows, or blocks anything: what you use beyond the included amount is billed as usage on your next invoice, at the rates shown in the panel. Usage starts fresh on the first of each month.
What the Panel Shows
- Your next bill: the monthly services you pay for, plus usage beyond what is included, so far this month. It is an estimate until the month closes.
- Each website we manage: storage, bandwidth, and emails sent, each next to what is included with that website's plan.
- MountDev Ops: what your company has used in the workspace (action
core.usage). Reading it changes nothing.
Everything That Counts as Usage
Some of these are counted from day one; the rest start counting when the app that uses them opens. Each shows here before it ever appears on a bill.
| Group | What is counted |
|---|---|
| Storage | Database storage, file storage, and backups and exports kept |
| People and Access | People, and connected AI agents |
| Activity | Changes made, changes made by AI agents, automation runs and scheduled jobs, webhooks sent and received, and records imported |
| AI | AI features used, and searches |
| Communication | Emails sent, emails received, text messages, phone minutes, and video meeting minutes |
| Files and Media | File downloads, PDFs made, images processed, and video minutes watched |
| Websites and Selling | Website page views, form submissions, custom domains, e-signatures, and payments processed |
Counted from day one: database storage, people, connected AI agents, changes made, and changes made by AI agents. A change is anything that adds, edits, or removes something; opening and reading never counts, and a change that is refused or fails is not counted.
What Is Counted, and What Is Not
Usage is counts only: how many and how much, never what. The counts are kept in your own company database, by month. Cascadia reads the totals to bill you and never the records behind them.
For AI Agents
AI agents can read usage (core.usage) on your behalf. Changes an AI agent makes are counted as changes made, and again as changes made by AI agents, so you can see how much of your activity they account for.
