Install what you need

Each app is its own plugin. Start with the CRM, or start somewhere else. Nothing is bundled against your will.

They recognize each other

Apps share one customer list, one product list, one set of staff. Install a second app and it already knows your data.

Work in the front end

Admins use the WordPress backend. Everyone else, staff and customers, works in the front end of your site.

Grow without repricing

Adding an app or a person does not change what you pay for the free apps.

The things people ask first

Is it really free?

Every app in the suite is a free plugin. Paid features will come later as a separate plugin, and the free apps are not held back to push it.

What happens to my data if I stop using an app?

It stays in your database. Deleting a plugin does not delete your records.

Do I need a developer?

To install and run the apps, no. To move hosting or meet the requirements, you may want help, and we do that work.

Can my customers log in?

Yes. Admins work in the WordPress backend, while staff and customers work in the front end of your site.

How many apps are there right now?

MountDev Ops CRM is the first. The rest are being built and released one at a time, and this page lists them as they land.

Who is building it?

Cascadia Web Services. We have run managed WordPress and business systems for other companies since 2012, and we are replacing our own tooling with this.

What your server needs

Our commitment

MountDev Ops is built security first. Your data stays on your server. Our plugins never phone home, and we never use analytics or tracking of any kind. The only exception is the MountDev Ops Pro license check, which sends only your license key and site address. Nothing else is sent anywhere unless you set it up yourself.

Keeping that promise takes a properly configured server. Here is what MountDev Ops needs:

PHP 8.3 or newer
WordPress 7.0 or newer
MySQL 8.0 or MariaDB 10.6 or newer
HTTPS across the whole site
Scheduled tasks run by a server cron job. By default WordPress runs them only when someone visits your site, so they can run late or not at all.

MountDev Ops checks all of these under Tools > Site Health, and shows their status on the Ops home screen.
