Who Can Use Your Workspace
Anyone your company has authorized on its Cascadia account can sign in to your workspace. The first person to sign in becomes its owner. Everyone after that starts as a member, and an owner or admin can change their role.
Seeing the people in your workspace (action core.people.list) is open to everyone in it and changes nothing.
Roles
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including making or removing other owners. |
| Admin | Everything except changing who is an owner. |
| Member | Use the apps they have access to. |
Changing a Role
Changing someone's role (action core.people.set_role) needs the Manage People permission, which owners and admins have.
- Only an owner can make someone an owner, or change an owner's role.
- Every workspace keeps at least one owner. Make someone else an owner before changing your own role.
- Every role change is recorded in the activity log.
The Activity Log
The activity log (action core.audit.list) shows every change to your workspace's people and setup: who made it, when, and whether an AI agent made it on someone's behalf. Owners and admins can see it, 50 entries at a time, newest first.
The activity log is your company's alone. No one at Cascadia Web Services can read it.
