Brand Kit

Part of the MountDev Ops Workspace documentation. Updated November 6, 2026

MountDev Ops Workspace documentation | Updated November 6, 2026

The Brand Kit is one place for how your company looks to your customers: your name, logos, colors, font, email sender, website, and contact details.

Our Commitment

MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.

Every update passes all 3,437 automated checks before it ships, plus screen tests on 9 screen sizes for everything it changes.

Where to Find It

Owners and admins select the Settings gear at the bottom of the menu, then Brand. Anyone whose role allows changing the brand can use it too (permission core.manage_brand, a switch in Settings, Permissions). Everyone in your company can read the kit (action core.brand.read), and so can AI agents and API keys. Changing it is action core.brand.update, also open to AI agents and API keys that hold the write level.

The page has a live preview at the top and a card for each part. The preview shows a portal page, an email, an invoice, and a website header with made-up content in your brand, in Light and in Dark. It changes as you type. The Save button appears at the top when you have changes, and Discard puts everything back.

What You Can Set

  • Identity: your name (up to 80 characters, on everything your customers see), your legal name for invoices and the fine print, and an optional product name.
  • Logos and Icons: a logo for light screens, a logo for dark screens, an icon, and a favicon. Each is a PNG, SVG, or WebP file of up to 2 MB. Select Upload or Replace, or Remove to take one away. Without a logo, your name shows in text. Dark screens use your light logo until you add a dark one. A plain drawing is accepted as an SVG. One that has code or outside links in it is refused. Logos are kept encrypted in your own file storage, in your data region, and shown to anyone with the logo's address, like any logo on a website.
  • Colors and Fonts: a brand color and an accent, typed as a hex color like #0f5c4d or picked with the color picker. Each is checked for contrast against the words that sit on it, and a color too light for its job is moved a little until it passes. The checks show Passes or Adjusted as you type. The font is Inter, the product's own, or your own .woff2 font file of up to 2 MB with its family name.
  • Email: your email template. It is the same template as Settings, Email, so changing it in either place changes both (Email Template).
  • Sender: the sender name, sender address, and reply-to address. Emails are sent the way you chose in Settings, Email Delivery (Email Delivery).
  • Domains and Links: your website, an address for customers to sign in on your own domain, and up to eight social links. You share your Cloudflare DNS access for the domain; you never copy DNS records by hand. A sign-in address shows Waiting for DNS Access until that is shared and checked.
  • Contact: your address (up to five lines), support email, support phone, and support hours.

Where It Shows

Once you save a kit, your customers see it on:

  • Your workspace and client portal: your colors, font, and logo.
  • Emails: every email an app sends goes through your email template, which follows the kit (colors, logo, website, phone, email, and your name and address in the footer).
  • Invoices and receipts: the invoice page your customers open uses your colors and logo, and its seller name until you set one in Invoices Settings.

Reports and PDFs, websites, and notifications follow the kit later (Planned). Until you save a kit, nothing about your company details or emails changes: the kit starts from what you already had, or from a plain neutral look with your name in text. The platform's own name appears nowhere to your customers.

The Powered by Line

Your brand shows on its own, with nothing from the platform. The one exception is a small Powered by line you can choose to show: it is off everywhere until you turn it on, place by place, on the Powered By and Earn card on this page. When your provider runs a referral program, the line can carry your own referral link, so you earn when a company signs up through it. See Powered By and Earn.

One Copy, Never Two

After you save a kit, Settings, Company and Settings, Email show the kit's values, and saving either one writes the same values into the kit. There is no second copy to keep in step.

Variants for Companies You Resell To

If you have companies marked Resold or White Label in CRM, a card called Variants for Your Companies appears. A variant is a version of your kit that those companies see in the emails you send them: a name they see, and optionally its own colors. A color left empty is your kit's. Select Change to edit it and the switch to turn it on or off (action core.brand.variant_save). It is off until you turn it on. Companies that are not resold never see it. Your logo carries over.

For AI Agents and the API

  • core.brand.read (MCP tool brand_read, level read): the kit, which logo files are set, contrast checks, and variants.
  • core.brand.update (MCP tool brand_update, level write): saves the whole kit. Every value is checked.
  • core.brand.variant_save (MCP tool brand_variant_save, level write): changes a variant.

Uploading a logo, icon, favicon, or font file is for people only, since a file comes from a person's own computer, and so are the two actions that go with it: core.brand.file_remove takes a file out of its place (the stored copy stays, marked removed), and core.brand.preview makes the live preview's samples from the values you are typing, without saving anything.

Good to Know

  • Every change is written in the Activity Log.
  • Saving the kit changes only the kit. Your business hours and every other setting stay as they are.
  • Removing a file never deletes it: the stored copy stays, marked removed.
  • Nobody at Cascadia Web Services can open your kit or your files.
