Signing In
Sign in with your Cascadia account, the same sign-in you use for the client portal. There is no separate password for MountDev Ops and no separate sign-in for each app. After you sign in, a short loading bar shows while your workspace gets ready, then the page changes into your workspace.
Your workspace session lasts 12 hours. After that, sign in again. If a sign-in link has expired or was already used, the page says so and offers a fresh sign-in.
The Page Never Reloads
Moving between screens never reloads the page. When anything changes, whether a person, an automation, or an AI agent changed it, every open screen in your company updates on its own. Only the part of the screen showing that information refreshes, with a short fade. You never need to reload to see the latest.
Home
Home (action core.home) shows your company name and your apps. It changes nothing.
Managed Services and Account
The workspace is also your Cascadia client portal. The app switcher lists Managed Services, and the menu's Account button opens your account:
- Managed Services, only when Cascadia Web Services looks after websites for you:
- Websites: each website we look after and its services. Open one to see this month's care (backups, security scans, and updates), its usage against your plan, and its monitoring.
- Requests: the work you have asked us to do and where it stands. New Request sends a new one; you get the request number right away and we reply by email.
- Account, for every company, opened with the Account button at the bottom of the menu:
- Your Sign-In: the email you sign in with, your backup email (we send it a code when someone signs in from a new location; it must be on a different domain), and your passkeys (add one to sign in with your face, fingerprint, or device PIN; remove one any time). These settings are yours alone.
- Team: the people on your Cascadia account. Add a Person, or Edit someone else to choose whether they can sign in and approve paid work and whether they get the monthly report, or remove them from the account. Nobody changes their own access. Adding an authorized person emails them how to sign in.
- Billing: your balance due, the Next Invoice estimate and the Upcoming Invoice line by line (grouped by website, usage marked), your payment methods, and your invoices. Connect or change your bank account (the primary payment method) and your backup card in a secure Stripe form on the page; we never see or store account or card numbers. Removing your bank account asks first, since services end at the end of the month without one. Each invoice can be viewed, downloaded as a PDF, and paid with the payment method on file.
- Agreements: everything your company has agreed to with Cascadia (terms, payment methods, people added), who agreed, when, and the exact wording.
- Partner, only for accounts in a partner program: your partner link, clicks, referrals, clients, payouts and payout setup, Register a Referral, and Your Branding for reseller and white-label partners.
Every change here runs the same checks and keeps the same records as the account portal: consent records with your browser and location, and confirmation emails where the portal sends them.
What you see first depends on what you have with Cascadia:
- Managed Services, without MountDev Ops in your plan: you land on Websites, and the switcher shows Managed Services. MountDev Ops appears as one card in the switcher, and its Learn More button opens the MountDev Ops page in a new tab.
- MountDev Ops in your plan: you land on Home, with the Workspace and your apps first in the switcher, then Managed Services if Cascadia also manages websites for you. Owners and admins add apps in Setup. Adding apps, changing Setup, and importing work only while MountDev Ops is part of your plan.
- Neither: you land on Billing.
These pages show Cascadia's own records about your account (your websites, requests, invoices, and team), and they refresh on their own every minute while open. Data flows one way, from Cascadia to you: these pages never read or send anything stored in your workspace, and Cascadia checks on every visit that you are an authorized person on that account. Only people Cascadia lists as authorized on the account see them.
Your Settings
Your settings belong to you alone; nobody else sees or changes them.
- Reading your settings (action
core.settings.get) changes nothing. - Changing a setting (action
core.settings.set) saves one setting at a time:menu_collapsed: whether your menu is collapsed (true or false).pinned_apps: the apps you keep at the top of the app switcher, up to 20.
Using the Keyboard
Everything in the workspace can be reached with the Tab key, and Esc closes any pop up. There are no other keyboard shortcuts.
For AI Agents
AI agents act on your behalf with exactly your permissions. They can open Home (core.home) and read the people list (core.people.list). They cannot change your personal settings. Every change an AI agent makes is marked as made by an AI agent in the activity log.
