Partners Settings

The Settings

Owners and admins find Partners Settings in Setup, under the apps. They see them with action partners.settings.get and change them with action partners.settings.save. Every change is in the activity log.

• Program name: shown to partners, on their statements, in their invite, and on the application page. Empty uses your company's name.
• Landing page: where partner links send visitors, with ?ref=CODE added. It must start with https://.
• Days a referral is credited: 90 at first. A click credits a later signup for this long, a registered referral waits this long for the prospect, and the first paid invoice must come within this long of the referral.
• Days before commission clears: 30 at first. New commission waits this long before a payout includes it, so a payment that fails or is refunded can be taken back first.
• New affiliates: the commission percent (10), months (6; 0 means for as long as the client stays), and project commission percent (0) an Affiliate gets when approved without rules of their own.
• From address and From name: where partner invites come from. Invites cannot go out until the From address is set.
• Open affiliate applications to the public: off at first. With it on, anyone can apply from your application page.
• Make payouts on the 1st of each month: on at first.

Links and Your Website

Once Partners is added, Links and Your Website shows your program's click address for your website, and the application page when applications are open (Links, Signups, and Referrals).
