Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Applications now has its own item in the Partners menu, with a count beside it while any wait, and is the first card on the Partners page. The people who review applications get a notice in Needs You Today and an email with the applicant's name and a link, the moment one arrives.
  • Where the program is open, in Partners Settings: name the countries applicants may be based in. The application says so, offers only those countries, and tells anyone elsewhere plainly. Affiliates are now asked where they are based too.
  • Partners see on their Earnings that commission becomes available 30 days (your setting) after the referred client's payment succeeds, and that payouts go to a United States bank account.
  • The weekly checks now look at partners who resell under your name, for listings at any price other than your list price, above or below. White-label partners set their own prices and are never checked for pricing.
  • Portal Address, branded reports, and the branded portal are marked Coming Soon, and a partner is never shown a DNS record.
  • Your website can send its referral clicks and sign-ups with a code to your program through a connected system, the same as the click address in Partners Settings.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Your partners and affiliates work in their partner area, a section of their own workspace at /account/partner, with the same sign-in as everything else: Overview, Referrals, Clients, Earnings, Pricing, Badge, Branding, Portal Address, API, and Agreements, in the workspace's own menu and switchers. Its older addresses go there.
  • An application, once sent, can be followed in the applicant's own account, where its status changes as it is reviewed.
  • Agreements keep their version history: when you publish a new version, the one it replaces is kept with its text.
  • Become a Partner and Become an Affiliate: application forms you set, in short steps with a progress bar, saved as people go, with Save and Continue Later by email, a review of every answer, and a status page applicants can come back to.
  • Every application is checked automatically (email, domain age, mail, website, services, portfolio, Ahrefs authority when connected, spam lists, hosting providers, repeats, and for affiliates coupon sites, empty accounts, and ads on your name) and gets a score, a summary, flags, and a recommendation.
  • Approve in one click with the new Review partner applications permission, given one by one in Settings, Permissions: it places them in their tier and sends your welcome email. Their page asks them to accept your agreement before anything opens.
  • Tiers can now go by spend or by referred clients' spend over a rolling number of months, keep a tier for whole months after falling below, and show partners a progress bar to the next one. Recurring services only and pass-through costs keep project work and at-cost charges out of discounts and commission.
  • Confidential pricing behind a frosted panel on your partners' pages, every opening logged, watermarked with the partner's name and a mark that traces a leak to them.
  • Weekly checks for pricing leaks, listings below your list price, affiliate abuse, client complaints, bounces, unpaid invoices, and partner websites, with a health score from 0 to 100 that shortens a low scorer's grace period on its own, and a monthly summary for owners.
  • A partner badge for every partner and affiliate: six black and white styles in light, dark, outline, and auto, shown only on their own websites, with a verification card and a click that carries their referral link.
  • The agreement is part of every application: applicants read it to the end, type their full name, and choose I Agree, with the version, time, name, IP address, and device kept. Drafts say Draft pending attorney review. Partners accept a new version at their next sign-in, and every accepted agreement is on their page under Agreements as a PDF.
  • A partner or affiliate can no longer register a company you already have: a client, another partner's referral, or your do-not-contact list, matched by website, email domain, company name, or phone. They see only that it can't be registered; you get the details, and repeated attempts lower their score.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Partner portal: your partners sign in the same way as your clients and see their referred clients and those clients' services, their commissions (pending, cleared, and paid), payout history, their tier and what the next tier needs, their payout setup with Set Up Payouts, their link, and their own branding with a preview. Each partner only ever sees their own.
  • Vendor Programs: the partner programs you belong to, with every commission, transaction, and subscription, filters, totals by month, and a CSV download. Import a file, or connect a system that sends them, with Sync Now.
  • Payouts: pay your partners through your own Stripe account. Partners finish Stripe's own payout setup from a link or their partner page; you mark a payout ready, confirm the amount, and send it, with every transfer and any failure and its reason kept.
  • Tiers: rates, a discount, perks, and what partners need to reach each tier (set by hand, a number of active clients, or revenue), with automatic moves and days kept after falling below. A partner's tier counts in every commission.
  • White Label: a partner's or a tier's own name, logo, colors, support email, website, and custom domain, used on the Helpdesk emails their clients get. The White Label page lists where brands show and where they do not yet.
  • Emails to partners (invites, payout setup, payout sent) now wait for your business hours.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Partners: affiliates and partners, each with a referral link and code that counts clicks and signups, keeping only a scrambled form of each visitor's address.
  • Referrals record which client companies each partner brought in, and turn down self-referrals and people already in your CRM.
  • Commission rules per partner: a percent of each paid invoice, for a set number of months or for as long as the client stays, and optional flat amounts.
  • Commission is earned when Billing marks an invoice paid, and taken back if the payment fails or is refunded. Payouts are made on the 1st, with a monthly statement for each partner as a PDF.
  • Partners see their own referrals, clients, and earnings under Account, Partner, and affiliates can apply from a public page you open in Partners Settings.
