Our Commitment
MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.
Every update passes all 2,225 automated checks before it ships, plus screen tests on 9 screen sizes for everything it changes.
What Scheduling Is
Scheduling lets clients book time with you on a booking page, without an account and without emailing back and forth. It is part of Meetings: every booking becomes a meeting on your Schedule, with its attendees, so notes, action items, video, recordings, and summaries all work on it as on any meeting.
Scheduling has three pages in Meetings' menu: Bookings, Booking Pages, and Availability. Each person's calendars and notifications are on Your Profile (Calendars, Meeting Notifications), and the company's choices are on Meetings' Settings page (Meetings Settings).
Booking Pages
Open Booking Pages to see your pages and their meeting types, with the links to share (action meetings.sched.pages).
- Your booking page: everyone on the team with Meetings has their own page, with their own meeting types, made the first time Booking Pages opens. Owners and admins see everyone's pages.
- Team pages: owners and admins add pages for a group, such as Sales Team, with Add Team Page (action
meetings.sched.page.save). A team page's meeting types can book one person, everyone together, or whoever is free. - Edit Page changes a page's introduction (and a team page's name), or turns it off so nobody can book it (action
meetings.sched.page.save). You change only your own page; owners and admins change any. - Link to share: the page's address. Anyone with it can book its listed meeting types. Each meeting type also has its own link, which opens the page on that type.
Meeting Types
Add Meeting Type opens the editor (action meetings.sched.type.save). Every choice is in plain words, and How Bookers See It shows the card bookers see on the page, changing as you type.
- Basics: the name, the length (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, or your own from 5 to 480), and a sentence or two on what it is for.
- How It Happens: an Online meeting (audio), from the booker's computer or phone (a join link goes in the confirmation; it uses your Telnyx connection, see Video Meetings), a Phone call (the booker calls your business number in Calls), or In person at the address you give.
- Who Is On It:
- One person (on your own page, Just me).
- Everyone together: the time is offered only when everyone marked Must be free is free, each by their own working hours, meetings, other bookings, and calendars. Everyone free is put on the meeting. Someone not marked Must be free comes along when they are free and never blocks a time.
- Round robin: the time is offered when any one of them is free, and the booking goes to whoever has had the fewest bookings of this type in the 30 days around it, so they are shared out evenly.
- Listed or Hidden: a listed type is on the booking page. A Hidden type is not listed: only its own link (Copy Hidden Link) or a single-use link books it. Unchecking Clients can book it pauses a type.
- Timing: a buffer before and after (time kept free around each booking), the minimum notice before a booking can start, how far ahead it can be booked, a daily limit of bookings of this type for each person, and, by itself, a start time every 15 or 30 minutes.
- Booking Form: name and email are always asked. Company and Phone can be optional, required, or not asked. Up to 10 questions of your own (a short answer, a paragraph, or one of a list of choices), each optional or required. Who can book: anyone with the link, or only existing clients (an email address that belongs to a CRM contact). Bookers can invite others lets the booker add people by name and email (up to the limit in Meetings Settings).
- Reminders: the reminder shortly before (your company setting, or this type's own), and whether a reminder text is offered.
See Open Times in the editor shows the times the type offers over the next 7 days (action meetings.sched.preview). For Everyone together, these are the times all the required people are free at once.
Single-Use Links
Single-Use Link on a meeting type makes a link for one client (action meetings.sched.single.make): it books once, then stops working, and works for 7 to 90 days (30 at first). Name who it is for to find it later. It is the way to offer a hidden type to one person. The dialog lists the links made, used, and expired, and Turn Off stops one before it is used (action meetings.sched.single.off).
On Your Website
Add to Website gives the code to put a booking page on your website:
- On the Page: the booking page right in your page, growing to fit.
- A Book a Meeting Button: a button that opens the booking page over your website. Esc or Close shuts it.
- Your Own Button: any button or link with
data-mdo-booking-buttonopens it.
The script reads nothing from your website, keeps nothing about visitors, sets no cookies, and never tracks anyone.
The Booking Page
A booking page uses your company's look: your logo on your header color and your accent color for buttons and links (from your email template, Settings, Email), and your website's font when you set it in Meetings Settings. It works on any phone, tablet, or computer, by touch and keyboard, and needs no sign-in. Its four steps fade in place, with the steps named at the top and the choices so far beside them:
- Choose a Meeting: each listed meeting type as a card with its name, length, how it happens, who is on it (with their team photos), and a line about it.
- Pick a Time: a month with the open days marked, and the open times of the chosen day. Times are in the booker's own time zone, which they can change.
- Your Details: name, email, your questions, and Invite Others, plus Text me a short reminder when you offer texts.
- Confirmed: the meeting, its time, and links to reschedule, cancel, or invite others.
Right before a booking is confirmed, the time is checked again, with every host's calendar links read again live, and the time is held for each host in the same step, so two people can never book the same time. If it was just taken, the booker is asked to pick another.
What a Booking Does
- Makes a meeting titled with the meeting type and the booker's name, owned by its host, with the hosts and the booker (and anyone they invited) as attendees. The booker's details and answers are in its Notes.
- Links the booker to the CRM contact with their email, or adds a new contact (a Lead) with the company they typed, or the one with their email's domain (free email addresses never make a company). Each person they invited becomes a contact at the booker's company. Someone who is already a contact at another company is added to the meeting but never moved, and the hosts are told to check.
- Sends the booker a confirmation at once, with a calendar invitation that adds itself to their calendar, and links to reschedule, cancel, or invite others. Everyone they invited gets an invitation (Meeting Notifications).
- Tells the hosts on their bell (New booking).
- For an online meeting, makes its join link (the room itself starts when a host starts it).
The same booker can have at most three upcoming bookings on one page at a time.
The Booker's Own Link
The links in the booker's emails open their meeting, with no sign-in:
- Reschedule: pick a new time the same way. The hosts, the booker, and everyone on it are told, and calendars update.
- Invite Others: add people by name and email, who get their own invitations.
- Cancel: with an optional reason. The booker gets a confirmation, the hosts are told on their bell, and everyone else on it gets the cancellation.
Bookings
Bookings lists upcoming, past, and canceled bookings, with each one's meeting type, booker, hosts, and guests (action meetings.sched.bookings). Hosts see the bookings they are on; owners and admins see all. Open goes to the meeting. Cancel cancels a booking with an optional reason (action meetings.sched.booking.cancel): the booker and their guests get the cancellation, and the time opens again.
Availability
Availability sets when each person can be booked (action meetings.sched.availability.get):
- Working Hours: your company's Business Hours, with its closed dates, until you check Set my own hours for bookings and choose your own time zone and hours for each day (action
meetings.sched.availability.save). - Date Overrides and Time Off: a day or a range of days off, or different hours on certain days, with a note (action
meetings.sched.date.add). Take Away removes one (actionmeetings.sched.date.remove). An override on a company closed date opens that day for you. - Owners and admins can choose Whose availability to see and change anyone's.
Times when you have a MountDev Ops meeting (as its owner or a team attendee), another booking (with its buffers), or a busy time on a calendar you linked are never offered.
Time Zones
Everything is kept in UTC. Each person's hours are in their own time zone, the booker sees times in theirs, and emails show times in the booker's own time zone (and the company's meeting time zone for other attendees).
For AI Agents
An AI agent may look at bookings (meetings.sched.bookings), availability (meetings.sched.availability.get), and a meeting type's open times (meetings.sched.preview). It never books, cancels, changes a page or a meeting type, or makes a link: those stay with people.
