Seeing the Summary First
After the meeting, select Send Summary on its page (action meetings.summary.preview). You see the email exactly as it will go out, and the list of attendees:
- The email starts with Hi and each attendee's first name, thanks them for the meeting, and gives the meeting's summary, decisions, and action items (with who and when), signed with your name and your company's name.
- It ends by saying why the attendee got it: they attended the meeting, and you sent its summary.
- It is in Arial, and every web address in it carries tags that tell the site it links to that the visit came from this email. Nothing in MountDev Ops tracks who opens or clicks it.
If something is missing, the pop up says what: a summary, decisions, or action items to send; a meeting time that has passed; an attendee with an email address; or a sending address in Meetings Settings.
Choosing Who Gets It
Every attendee with an email address is checked to start. Uncheck anyone who should not get it. A contact who asked not to get email, and an attendee without an email address, are shown with the reason and cannot be chosen. Select Send Summary to send it (action meetings.summary.send).
If the meeting changed after you opened the summary (someone edited the notes, for example), nothing is sent and you are asked to look again, so what goes out is always what you saw.
A Minute to Undo
Each summary waits one minute before it goes out, and then for your business hours: one sent while you are closed goes out at your next opening, and the meeting's page shows when. Undo beside it on the meeting's page takes back the whole send while it waits (action meetings.summary.undo). After that, the Summary Emails card shows each attendee's email as Sent, or Not Sent with the reason.
Who May Send
Owners, admins, and members may send summaries of meetings they may change. Someone who may only see a meeting (a Viewer) can look at the email, and is told that only people who may change the meeting send it. AI agents never send a summary: an agent may draft the summary on the meeting and look at the email, and a person sends it.
