What a Website Record Holds
Each website your customers have is a record in CRM's Websites: its domain, the company it belongs to, its name, status, hosting, and platform. Set Status to Active for a website you look after; when you stop looking after one, set it to Inactive rather than deleting it, so its history stays.
The services on a website are the items of its company's subscriptions that name the website, in Subscriptions. Add an item for a service to start it on that website, and give the item (or the subscription) an end date to end it.
What to Watch on a Website
These fields keep what your team watches on each website, in one place with the rest of the customer's records. Each is optional, and you can turn any of them off in CRM's Settings like any field (Modules and Fields).
- Key pages: the pages that matter most, one address per line, such as /contact or https://example.com/shop.
- Forms to check: one form per line, written as a name, the page it is on, and how to find it on the page, separated by
|. For example: Contact form | /contact | #contact-form. - Page elements to check: one element per line in the same way: a name, its page, and how to find it.
- Check forms and elements: how often the forms and page elements are checked: Twice daily, Hourly, or Every 30 minutes.
- Extra forms and Extra page elements: how many extra checks the customer bought for the website.
- Competitors: the competitors the website is compared with, one per line.
- Extra AI assistants: AI assistants to compare the website in, besides the usual one, separated by commas.
Lines starting with # are notes, not addresses or forms.
Nightly Updates
When your team updates websites every night, two more fields say how each one is handled. Both are optional.
- Pinned plugins: the plugins and themes the nightly updates leave as they are, one per line by folder name, such as elementor or astra. Write
wordpressto keep WordPress itself where it is. A pinned plugin is skipped every night and listed for a person, until you remove it from this field. - Nightly updates: set to Off for a website that should not have nightly updates at all. Leave it empty, or set to On, for nightly updates.
