Our Commitment
MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.
What Files Is
Files keeps your company's folders and the files in them: contracts, brand assets, meeting recordings, and anything else your team shares. Every file is encrypted with your company's own key before it is stored, and every download and preview is written in your Activity Log.
Adding Files also gives every record in your workspace a Files card: companies, deals, tickets, projects, and the records of any module, so a contract can sit with the company it belongs to and a screenshot with the ticket it explains.
In These Docs
- Folders and Files: the Files page, folders inside folders, uploading, previews, downloads, renaming, moving, deleting, search, and who sees what.
- How Your Files Are Encrypted: in plain words, what happens to a file between your computer and storage, and why nobody else can open it.
- Files on Records: the Files card on any record's page, and the actions behind every file.
Starting Module
- Folders: name, Inside (the folder it sits in, or none for the top level), and description. Like every module, it can be changed, turned off, or deleted in Setup (Modules and Fields), and members' access comes from their Files role (Roles).
Storage
How much your files take up shows on Usage as File storage, and what your team downloads as File downloads (Usage). Storage is never limited. Each file can be up to 10 GB.
