MountDev Ops Websites documentation | Updated November 6, 2026
Publish a website (action sites.publish) makes the ready pages, menus, redirects, pictures, and theme the next version, current at once. Add a short note if you like.
What Is Needed
- The website needs a ready page with the address home.
- Draft pages and removed pages are left out.
- The website has to fit in one piece. A very large website asks you to remove pages you no longer need.
Changes from Assistants
A page saved by an assistant or a key is a draft, and a change it makes to a page that is already ready waits for a person (the website shows how many are waiting). A person who publishes is saying they looked at them. An assistant or key that has the publish permission is refused while changes from an assistant are waiting.
Who Can Publish
Owners, admins, and anyone whose role or permission group allows publishing. A member without it can see the website and its history but cannot publish.
