MountDev Ops Websites documentation | Updated November 6, 2026
Websites is also where your account builds and runs its own websites. A website here is made of pages, posts, docs, menus, redirects, and pictures, drawn with a theme. Everything is kept in your own workspace, in your own region, and you can export all of it at any time.
How It Works
You work on a copy of the website. Nothing a visitor sees changes until a person publishes (see Publish). Each publish is saved as a version, and you can go back to any earlier one (see History).
Your Websites
- See your websites (action
sites.site.list): each website with its pages, addresses, and the version visitors see. Removed websites are listed on request. - See one website (action
sites.site.get): its settings, its addresses, the published version, and how many pages have changes waiting for a person to look at. - Add a website, or change one (action
sites.site.save): the name, a short name (lower case letters, numbers, and dashes, such as acme-test), the title and tagline shown on every page, the language, the theme, and the search settings. The search settings hold a title pattern, such as "{page} | {site}", and a social picture used when a page names none. - Remove a website, or bring it back (action
sites.site.remove): a removed website is hidden and kept, with its pages and versions. Nothing is deleted.
Prices, Phone, and Address
A price block on a page shows the price of one of your Products. Change the price on the product and the page shows the new price right away, with no new publish. A product that is turned off, or has no price, shows nothing. A contact block shows your company name and address from Company settings and your business number from your phone connection.
Search Fields
Every page has a search title, a search description, a social picture, a preferred address, and structured data. Structured data is a short list of plain facts about the page, such as a local business name or an article headline, for search engines. Only a few types and fields are allowed, and no markup.
Who Can Do What
- See websites, pages, menus, redirects, pictures, themes, and history (owners, admins, and members, or anyone whose role allows it).
- Build websites (owners, admins, and anyone whose role allows it): add and change content, themes, and addresses.
- Publish a website and go back to an earlier version (owners, admins, and anyone whose role allows it).
AI Assistants
Your own assistant can use the same actions through the API and the MCP, with the permissions you give it. Everything it saves is a draft. It cannot make a new page ready, and a change to a page that is already live waits for a person (see Publish).
