Our Commitment

MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.

The Settings

Owners and admins find Contracts Settings on Contracts' Settings page, the last item of Contracts' menu. The same page lists Contracts' modules and fields, with their icons, and Contracts' roles (Apps). They see the settings with action contracts.settings.get and change them with Change Settings (action contracts.settings.save). Every change is in the activity log.

  • From address: the address signing invitations, signed copies, and notices come from. Contracts cannot be sent until it is set. It must be an address your email sending is set up for.
  • From name: the name those emails come from. Your company's name when empty.
  • Contract numbers start with: letters or digits ending with a dash, like C- or AGR-. Numbers continue after the highest one used.
  • Days a signing link works: 30 at first. Sending the invitation again gives another full period.
  • Days of notice before renewal or end: 30 at first. Each contract can have its own.
  • Who hears about signatures and dates: owners and admins (at first), everyone, or only the person who owns each contract. The person who owns a contract always hears about it.
  • Time zone: for dates in emails and on the Signature Certificate, like America/Los_Angeles.
  • Electronic signature consent and Agreement wording: the two boxes each signer ticks. Each signature keeps the wording exactly as it was when they signed.
  • Template for accepted proposals: when a client accepts a proposal, a contract starts from this template (From Proposals). It must be an Active template. Choose None to start contracts from proposals by hand only.
  • When a proposal is accepted: Create a draft for us to review (the starting setting), or Send it for signature right away. Sending right away keeps who turned it on and when, and each contract sent that way says so in its audit trail.

Contracts Emails

Contracts Emails (action contracts.emails.list) shows the last 100 emails Contracts sent or is waiting to send: invitations, signed copies, and notices, with any that could not be sent and why. An email that stops partway is marked as possibly not sent.
