Our Commitment

MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.

Dates on a Contract

A contract can have a start date, an end date, and a renewal date, with a renewal setting (Renews automatically, Renew by hand, or Does not renew), a term in months, and the days of notice your team wants. A contract started from a template ends one term after it starts unless you give an end date.

Reminders to Your Team

Once a day, Contracts checks every signed contract. Within the days of notice before its renewal date or end date, your team gets one email for each date (the contract's own days of notice, or the default in Contracts Settings). The contract's audit trail notes each reminder. Reminders go to the person who owns the contract and the people Contracts Settings names. They never go to clients.

When the End Date Passes

  • Renews automatically with a term: the end date moves on by the term, your team is told, and the audit trail says so.
  • Anything else: the contract becomes Expired and your team is told.

Renewing by Hand

Renew on a signed or expired contract (action contracts.renew) starts a new draft with the same wording, company, contact, signers, renewal setting, and term. Its dates start the day after the old end date (or today, if that has passed). Look it over, change what you need in Details, and send it.
