MountDev Ops Campaigns documentation | Updated October 14, 2026

Owners and admins find Campaigns Settings on Campaigns' Settings page, the last item of Campaigns' menu (campaigns.settings.get). The same page lists Campaigns' modules and fields, with their icons, and Campaigns' roles (Apps). Change Settings saves them (campaigns.settings.save).

Sending Service

Campaigns sends through the email sending service your company already uses. Every service listed is approved for marketing email. It works with:

ServiceAddress in API ConnectionsSign-in
Resendhttps://api.resend.comBearer token (your API key)
Postmarkhttps://api.postmarkapp.comKey in a header: X-Postmark-Server-Token
SendGridhttps://api.sendgrid.comBearer token (your API key)
Mailgunhttps://api.mailgun.net/v3/your-sending-domain (or the EU address)User name and password: api: followed by your key
Brevohttps://api.brevo.com/v3Key in a header: api-key

Add the service in Settings, Connections, Connected Services, then choose the service and that connection here. The key stays encrypted and is opened only to send. Use a Postmark broadcast stream for campaigns. Campaigns asks each service not to add its own open and click tracking.

Confirming the Service Allows Marketing Email

Campaigns sends marketing email: the same email to many people. Many email services are only for transactional email, such as receipts, password resets, and account notices, and they do not allow marketing. Transactional email services must not be used for marketing. Sending marketing through one can get your account suspended and hurt how well all of your email is delivered. Check your provider's rules, and use its marketing or broadcast option if it has one.

When you choose a sending service and connection, you tick this box before you can save:

> I confirm that the sending service I chose allows marketing email (the same email sent to many people) on our account. I understand that services meant only for transactional email, such as receipts, password resets, and account notices, must not be used for marketing.

Campaigns keeps who confirmed it, when, and these exact words, and shows them in Campaigns Settings. Nothing can be sent until it is confirmed: not campaigns, not test emails, and not a paused campaign resumed. Choosing a different service or connection asks for the confirmation again, and a campaign already sending pauses until it is given.

From, Brand, and Address

  • From address and name: an address on a domain your sending service has verified. Reply-To is optional.
  • Company name, brand color, logo, and website: the top bar of every email uses your brand color with your logo (or your company name), and buttons and links use the color. The logo links to your website.
  • Postal address: shown at the bottom of every email, as anti-spam laws require. Nothing can be sent without it.
  • Default reason: finishes "You are getting this email because..." on every campaign that does not have its own reason.

Open and Click Tracking

Tracking counts when someone opens your email or clicks a link in it. It is off unless you turn it on.

  • Off (the starting setting): no tracking image, and links go straight to your website.
  • Only people who agreed to tracking: opens and clicks are counted only for people whose consent record says they agreed to it.
  • Everyone we email: opens and clicks are counted for everyone the campaign goes to. Choose this only if everyone you email agreed to tracking.

Turning tracking on is a consent step. You tick this box before you can save:

> I agree that our company keeps a record of each person's consent before we count when they open our emails or click a link in them, and that we count opens and clicks only for people who agreed.

Campaigns keeps who agreed, when, and these exact words, shows them in Campaigns Settings, and writes the change in the Activity Log. Tracking cannot be turned on without it. Changing between the two tracking choices asks again, and turning tracking off ends the agreement, so turning it on later asks again too.

Turning tracking off, or a person withdrawing their tracking consent, applies straight away, including to the rest of a campaign that is sending. Turning it on applies to campaigns confirmed after that.

Delivery Reports Address

After the first save, Campaigns makes a private address for your sending service's webhooks. Paste it into your service's webhook settings for delivered, bounced, spam complaint, and unsubscribe events. It works like a password, so only owners and admins see it, and AI agents never do. Reports for emails this workspace did not send are ignored.

Exporting

Export Campaigns downloads everything Campaigns keeps outside its modules: settings (never a key or the delivery reports address), campaigns and their emails, saved filters and lists, every recipient and what happened, links, events, the suppression list, and test emails (campaigns.export). Consent Records and Suppressions export from their own pages like any module.
