How MountDev Ops Calls works, page by page. Updated October 21, 2026

MountDev Ops Calls documentation | Updated October 21, 2026

Our Commitment

MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.

Every update passes all 2,069 automated checks before it ships, plus screen tests on 9 screen sizes for everything it changes.

Tested Every Release

All 19 of Calls's own automated checks run on every update, plus 9 screen tests whenever Calls's screens change.

What they cover: Email | Signing in and access | Projects and tasks | Notifications and reminders

What Calls Is

Calls is your business phone number in the app. It works through your own Telnyx account, which you connect once in Settings, Connections. Calls gives you:

  • Calls in and out. Calls ring in the Phone window on every device you have the app open on. The caller's name comes from your CRM. You can call back, transfer a call to a teammate, and use call waiting.
  • Texts in and out from your business number.
  • Voicemail with its transcript, the recording of every answered call, and Call History for the last 30 days.

The Phone window opens from the phone button beside Chat, and lists your text conversations, missed calls, and voicemail (action calls.home).

Calls ring and are made only inside the app. Nothing ever rings, forwards to, dials, or bridges through anyone's personal phone, and Calls never keeps anyone's personal number.

What callers hear (the Welcome, the Recording Notice, voicemail, the Closed message, and the voice that says them) is set in Settings, Phone. Calls follow your Business Hours. Outside them nothing rings: callers hear Closed, with when you reopen, and can leave a voicemail.

In These Docs

  • Calls in the App: taking and placing calls, the call card, transfer, missed calls, voicemail, recordings, and Call History.
  • Texts: text conversations, sending, read marks, and who sees which conversation.
  • Call Waiting: what happens when the people a call is for are already on calls.
  • Calls Settings: connecting Telnyx and the addresses to copy into it.

Who Can Do What

  • See texts, missed calls, voicemail, and call history (owners, admins, and members). Owners and admins see every text and call. Anyone else sees the texts and calls of the clients they look after (the CRM company's Project manager), and any call they were rung for or took.
  • Take and place calls: each person's Phone switch, in Permissions. Owners and admins have it until it is turned off. Members get it once it is turned on.
  • See the Telnyx addresses and how Calls is set up (owners and admins).
  • A phone number is shown to owners and admins only. Everyone else sees the caller's name, or Caller.

AI Agents and API Keys

Calls is for people. AI agents and API keys cannot read texts or calls, send texts, or place calls.

Exporting

Export Everything includes every text and call (Texts.csv and Calls.csv), with numbers, names, who took each call, and voicemail transcripts.
