Our Commitment
MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.
The Sections Library
Sections in the menu is text you write once and use in any proposal, such as About Us, How We Work, Not Included, or Terms. Each section has:
- Name: how you find it in the library.
- Heading: the heading on the proposal (the name, when empty).
- Shown as: Text (paragraphs), List (bullets), or Steps (numbered).
- Text: paragraphs with a blank line between them, or one item per line.
- Add to new proposals: every new proposal starts with it.
- Active: turn it off to keep it out of the library without deleting it.
Adding a section to a proposal copies its text, so changing the library later never changes a proposal already written.
Products and Prices
Lines come from one place (action proposals.catalog):
- With Billing: Billing's Products (name, price, how often it is billed, unit, SKU, and category), active ones only. Recurring products billed every month, year, or week become monthly, yearly, or weekly lines.
- Without Billing: Proposals' own Price Lines: name, price, billed (One Time, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly), unit, description, category, and whether it is active.
A line's price is copied when it is added, so changing a product's price later never changes a proposal already written.
Who Sees Prices
Price Lines are hidden entirely from people without the pricing permission, and the catalog gives them product names without prices. See Who Can Do What.
