Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Reminders now have one standard wording, short and friendly, the same for every reminder: that the proposal is ready to review whenever the client has a moment, and that they can reply with any questions. No prices, no counting, and no pressure. The last reminder before a proposal expires adds one line with the day it expires.
  • Reminders look like the rest of your emails: your email template with "Proposal" on the header, a Review the Proposal button, the proposal and its Valid Until day, and the proposal owner's sign-off (their photo or initials, name, and job title), then why the client is getting it and the proposal's Reference.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • When your client accepts, the proposal's monthly and yearly lines start on their subscription in Subscriptions on their own: at the proposal's prices, linked to the client's website, and starting on launch day (or the day they accept, with no Project Journey). A first month that starts after the 1st is prorated.
  • Name the website a proposal is for, and the day its services start if it is not launch day, on the draft. A website that is new is added to CRM for you. Your client's page says when the services start and that a first month is prorated.
  • The proposal's page shows what was started, with Start Services to finish it when the proposal had no CRM company linked or Subscriptions was added later. Nothing is ever added twice.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • A proposal you send goes out after its undo minute during your business hours, and your client's copy of their answer waits for them too. Approved proposals already went at your next opening.
  • Choose when reminders go out, in Proposal Settings: a set number of business days after sending, as before, or on set weekdays until the proposal expires, such as Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • On set weekdays, the first reminder goes on the next chosen day after the proposal was sent, never the same day, and one goes on each chosen day after that, during your Automatic Email Hours, until the client answers or the proposal expires. Holidays and the days you are closed are skipped, and a client never gets two in one day.
  • A proposal with no Valid Until date gets at most 12 reminders. The last reminder before a proposal expires tells the client the day it expires.
  • Proposals already waiting move to the schedule you choose at once, one reminder a day at most. The next reminder's day shows on each proposal's Links and Activity and in Coming Up.
  • Reminders: when a client has not answered a proposal, a short, polite reminder goes out from the proposal's owner 3 and then 7 business days after it was sent, with the same private link. Turn them on in Proposal Settings, and change the days there.
  • They stop for good once the proposal is accepted, declined, expired, withdrawn, or replaced by a new version. They go out only on the days you are open, during your Automatic Email Hours when you set them (Settings, Business Hours).
  • Each reminder is on the proposal's Links and Activity with Show Email, and the next one due shows there too. Coming Up, in Proposal Emails, shows every reminder about to go out with its email, without sending anything. Every reminder sent is also in Settings, Email, Automated Emails.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • On a proposal's page, Change for the CRM contact or deal lists only the contacts and deals of the proposal's company, with Show All to look beyond it.
  • A linked contact or deal that is not at the proposal's company is kept, with a note under it saying so.
  • Approve and Schedule while you are open sends the proposal five minutes later, instead of waiting for the next day. Approved while you are closed, it still waits for your next opening.
  • A proposal goes to its linked CRM contact when no email is typed on it, so linking the contact is enough to send or approve it.
  • Notes: write anything else your client should know on each proposal, such as assumptions, scheduling details, or links. Your client sees them near the end of the proposal and its PDF, before Accept.
  • Leave a blank line between paragraphs, start a line with "- " for a bullet, and write a link as [descriptive text](https://...). Links open in a new tab, and the PDF prints each address so it works on paper too.
  • Notes are frozen with each version you send, and Revise carries them to the new draft.
  • An answered proposal now carries a stamp: Accepted in blue or Declined in red, with the proposal number, who answered, and the day. It sits at the top of your client's page and again beside their answer, in your Preview, and on the PDF.
  • Right after your client answers, the stamp is pressed onto their page. When they come back, it is simply there.
  • The time a client answered now shows in your company's time zone from Business Hours, with its short name, on their page, the PDF, and the emails.
  • Approve and Schedule: the project manager of a proposal's project can approve it, and it is scheduled to send at your next opening from Business Hours, skipping the days you are closed.
  • Owners and people who send proposals are told when a proposal is approved. Until it goes out they can change its prices, send it now, or cancel the schedule.
  • At its time it goes out the usual way, valid from the day it is really sent. Who approved it, and when, shows on the proposal and in its history.
  • Who Sees Prices, in Proposals Settings: choose Owners Only, or Owners and Admins. Members never see prices, and your client always sees the prices on their own proposal.
  • Every Proposals email is laid out in your company's email template from Settings, Email: the proposal, your client's copy, the code to confirm their email, and your team's notices.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Also update existing proposals: when you change your Company Code or Proposal numbers start with, the proposals you have can take the new start, keeping their digits.
  • Each proposal keeps its old number, which search still finds. Links you already sent keep opening, and each payment is still invoiced once.
  • Proposal numbers follow your Company Code in Settings, Numbering (ACMEP- with the code ACME), or start with P- with no code.
  • Proposal numbers start with, in Proposal Settings, sets a start of your own; leave it empty to follow the code. Next Number still works, and a proposal number is never used twice.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Proposals are valid for 14 days from the day you send them, at first. Change the number in Proposal Settings; the date is set when you send.
  • An expired proposal still opens for your client, read only, with a Request a New Proposal button. Their request shows on the proposal and on its project (a closed project is reopened), and you get an email.
  • Link a proposal to its project with the new Project field, when you have Projects.
  • Before accepting, your client confirms their email with a 6-digit code we email them, and types their job title.
  • When your client accepts, their name, email, and job title update their CRM contact, or a new contact is added for their company.
  • Project Journey: show a proposal's steps as a timeline with dates, laid out on your working days from Business Hours, skipping the days you are closed, with milestones and launch.
  • Payment schedules: 50% at acceptance and the rest split over the project weeks at first. Change your usual schedule in Proposal Settings, or set one for a single proposal. The proposal, its PDF, and your editor show each payment with its amount and date.
  • Signing wording: set your agreement wording, with {company} for your client's company, and the electronic signature consent your clients agree to. Both are kept with each answer.
  • Charge Proposal Payments Automatically: with Stripe connected in Invoices, each payment is invoiced on its day, the first the day your client signs, and charged right away to their saved bank account. Your client can add one in a pop up while accepting.

Fixes and Behind-The-Scenes Changes

  • Proposals: build a proposal from your sections library and your products and prices, with optional add-ons your client can choose.
  • Send it as a private link that needs no sign-in and expires on its own, with a minute to undo. You see each time it is opened.
  • Your client accepts or declines online. Their name, email, the time, their IP address, and the exact version are recorded.
  • Accepting can move the CRM deal, and start a contract when the Contracts app is added. Download any proposal as a PDF.
  • Prices stay with the people allowed to see them: everyone else sees proposals without prices.
  • Webhooks and automations hear when a client accepts or declines a proposal. Sending stays with people: AI agents and API keys can write drafts but never send.
