Revenue by Product shows what you invoiced each month, by product and by product category, with the trend, totals, a range of months, a category filter, and a CSV download.
Our Commitment
MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.
Every update passes all 1,932 automated checks before it ships, plus screen tests on 9 screen sizes for everything it changes.
Where to Find It
Owners and admins choose Revenue by Product in Invoices' menu (action invoices.revenue). The address is revenue.
What It Counts
- Finalized invoices only: invoices that are Open or Paid. Drafts, Void, and Uncollectible invoices are not revenue.
- Each in its month: an invoice counts in the month of its Issued date.
- Line by line: each invoice line counts its Amount (or, with no amount, its quantity times its unit price, less its discount percent), before the invoice's own discount and tax.
- Products and categories: a line's product is its Product, and its category is that product's Category in Subscriptions' Products. Give your products whatever categories fit your business, such as Extensions, Hosting, or Support, and the report groups by them. A line with no product shows as No Product, and a product with no category as No Category.
- Test accounts are never counted: an invoice to a company marked as a test account in CRM, or a line for one on a partner's combined invoice, is left out, and the page says how many were left out.
The Page
- Filters: From and To months (like 2026-10; the last 12 months up to this one at first, up to 36 months at a time) and a Category. Each change shows the report again, with a fade and no reload.
- Totals: the revenue for the months shown, the last month with how it changed from the month before (up or down, as a percent), and how many invoices and lines were counted.
- Each Month: a bar for every month, the last one in full color. Point at a bar to see its amount, or choose Show as a Table.
- By Category: each category's revenue, its share of the total, how many products and lines it had, and its best month. Show Only limits the page to that category.
- By Product: each product's revenue, its category and SKU, how many lines it had, and the last month's revenue.
The page refreshes on its own when invoices or products change.
Download CSV
Download CSV saves the report as a spreadsheet file, with the same months and category, one line per month and product with revenue: the month, the category, the product, its SKU, and the revenue (action invoices.revenue.export). The button says Preparing until the file is ready.
Who Sees It
Owners and admins, who run billing. Members, AI agents, and API keys never see it.
