Our Commitment
MountDev Ops is built security first. Your business data belongs to you, and you can export all of it at any time. We never use analytics or tracking of any kind inside MountDev Ops.
What Is Kept
Each submission is a record in your Submissions module, made by MountDev Ops, with:
- the form, the person's name, email, phone, company, and message (from the fields used as those), and every answer;
- the page it was sent from, the referrer, the first page the visitor saw, and the campaign (UTM) source, medium, name, term, and content;
- its status (New to start, then Reviewed or Spam as you set it);
- where it was sent, and the numbers of the CRM contact, CRM company, and Helpdesk ticket it became.
Forms also keeps the answers exactly as they arrived, with each field's label and type, even if you later change the form.
What Forms never keeps: the visitor's internet address, their browser, or where they are. The history of each submission shows it as made by a form.
A Submission's Page
Select a submission on the Forms page, or open it from Submissions (action forms.submission.get):
- What They Sent: every answer, by its label.
- Where It Came From: the page, the referrer (or Direct visit or not shared), the first page seen, and the campaign values.
- Where It Went: Forms, CRM, and Helpdesk, with links to the contact, the company, and the ticket. A link shows only while that app's module is on and only when your role lets you see that record.
- Status: change it from the list at the top.
Submissions brought over from another system show their own values in place of the answers.
Submissions can be searched, exported, imported, and given owners like any records (Records). Members whose Forms role sees only their own records do not see submissions, since nobody owns them until someone is made their owner.
CRM Leads and Helpdesk Tickets
When a form sends to CRM, Helpdesk, or both (Where Submissions Go), the lead and ticket are made at the same moment the submission is kept, and the submission links to them. A contact you already had is linked, never changed. If the company changed CRM's fields (renamed a choice, turned a field off), the lead fits CRM as it is now: a value that no longer fits is left out instead of refusing the submission.
