Workiz alternative

Looking For A Workiz Alternative? We Run It Instead

Your trucks are moving whether the software works or not. Managed Zoho FSM puts the work orders, the dispatch board, the technician app, and the invoicing in one system we configure and run for you. We build the job templates, set the scheduling rules, get your crews working offline in the field, and connect all of it to CRM and your accounting, so the day ends with jobs closed and invoices sent.

With Cascadia you get

We build the work orders
The dispatch board fits your day
Technicians get a short list
Jobs turn into invoices
Your account, your data
Integrations get monitored

What our team takes on

In practice the build is decided by two people. The dispatcher, who needs the whole day visible on one screen and needs to reassign a job in seconds when a truck breaks down.

Your account, your data

Every work order, asset record, and customer lives inside your own Zoho subscription under your company name. Nothing sits behind an agency account, so there is no export to negotiate and no leverage held over you.

Integrations get monitored

A broken sync between FSM and your accounting fails quietly, and people find it at month end when the numbers do not agree.

We build the work orders

You should not have to design a job template between service calls.

The dispatch board fits your day

A generic scheduling grid is a screen your dispatcher fights.

Who this comparison is for

Companies moving off spreadsheets and paper

Carbon copy work orders and a shared calendar hold together until they do not, usually during your busiest month.

HVAC and plumbing contractors running crews

Emergency calls, maintenance agreements, and installs all compete for the same trucks on the same morning.

Equipment dealers servicing what they sold

Warranty work, billable repairs, and parts consumption all trace back to a specific machine at a specific address.

How our managed Zoho FSM service works

Whether you are replacing paper tickets or untangling a setup somebody configured and abandoned, the sequence is the same. We learn how your jobs actually run, build it properly, then operate it.

  1. 1

    We assess your current setup

First we look at how things run today: what you already pay for, what is configured where, and which parts are actually causing you trouble.

  2. 2

We learn how you run jobs

We follow the current process rather than replacing it on a diagram, and we take the customer list, the assets, and the price book as they exist today.

  3. 3

We build it and pilot it

Real jobs surface gaps that a demo never will, and we fix those before the rest of your technicians touch it. Your old process keeps running until the pilot crew stops going back to it.

  4. 4

We run it and keep it working

From there you send us changes and we make them, usually within two business days.

How Workiz works

What Workiz does, in their own words

Workiz is field service software priced per plan with a small included user count. The figures below were read in September 2026, and sources disagree because the published rates have been moving.

Lite is free for up to two membersScheduling, mobile app and online booking, but capped around 20 invoices, jobs and estimates a month.
Standard, about $198 to $229 a month for one to five members (September 2026)Their own page shows $225 struck through against $198 billed annually. Adds QuickBooks Online, automations and subcontractor management.
Pro, about $259 to $325 a month for one to five members (September 2026)Monthly billing is quoted higher than annual. Adds more automations, asset tracking and custom reports.
Ultimate is quotedInventory management, equipment tracking, purchase orders and franchise support.
Extra members are the real costBeyond the first five, reported at about $45 to $65 per user a month depending on tier and billing, so a ten-person team roughly doubles the base.
The phone system is a separate add-onTheir integrated communication and AI phone features are sold apart from the plan, billed per number and per minute.

Workiz alternative questions

Straight answers about switching, pricing, and what moves with you.
What does Cascadia do that Workiz leaves to me?
We configure and run Zoho FSM for you, and the data stays yours. Every work order, asset record, and customer lives inside your own Zoho subscription under your company name. Nothing sits behind an agency account, so there is no export to negotiate and no leverage held over you.
Work order and service task setup, dispatch console configuration, scheduling and territory rules, crew and skill based assignment, technician mobile and offline setup, estimate and invoice templates, price books, customer portal and notifications, CRM and Books integration, outside connections through Zoho Flow or webhooks, dashboards, and ongoing change requests. You also get a monthly summary of job volume and integration health. Very large historical data migrations are scoped separately.
Yes. Zoho FSM is part of the Zoho One suite, so a Zoho One subscription gives you access to it without a separate FSM license. If you are already on Zoho One, or heading that way, our Managed Zoho One plan covers FSM alongside CRM, Books, Desk, Inventory, and the rest under one monthly management fee rather than app by app pricing.
No. Zoho FSM runs on its own and holds its own customer and contact records. That said, most field businesses already sell before they service, and keeping quotes in one system and jobs in another creates duplicate customers fast. If you run CRM, we wire the two together and decide which system owns each field so they stay in step.
A straightforward setup with a handful of job types and one territory is usually live in two to three weeks. Larger operations with multiple crews, contract pricing, and an accounting integration typically take four to six weeks. We work in stages, so dispatch and the mobile app usually go live before the billing and reporting work is finished.
Yes. The Zoho FSM mobile app supports offline work, and we configure it so a technician can open a job, complete tasks, record readings, take photos, and capture a customer signature with no connection at all. Everything syncs when the phone finds a signal again. We test this during rollout rather than assuming it, because crawl spaces and rural routes are where it matters.
Yes, and plenty of our clients keep QuickBooks rather than moving to Zoho Books. We connect the two so invoices, payments, and customer records flow across instead of being entered twice, using the available integration or Zoho Flow depending on your setup. We also monitor that connection, since a broken sync usually shows up as a month end mismatch weeks later.
Yes. We set up the customer portal so your clients can request service, see upcoming appointments, approve estimates, view past job history, and pay invoices. Combined with reminder and on the way notifications, this removes most of the calls asking where the technician is, which is usually where your office staff lose the morning.
Jobs land on a dispatch board that your dispatcher works from. We configure it around your day, with the views and filters you need, appointment durations set by job type, travel buffers, working hours, and skill based rules so only qualified technicians are offered a job. Emergencies can be slotted in and the affected customers notified without rebuilding the day by hand.
We import your customers, service addresses, assets, and price list so the system is useful on day one. Historical job records can come across too, though very large archives are scoped as a separate project since the cleanup usually takes longer than the import. We keep your old system readable during the transition rather than switching everything over in one weekend.
