Zendesk Sell alternative
The Zendesk Sell Alternative, Run for You
Zendesk will retire Sell on August 31, 2027, and its data goes with it. We plan the move: a read of your export, a Zoho CRM pipeline that matches how you sell, rebuilt automation, and mail and phone connections. After launch we keep the CRM tidy on a monthly plan. The Zoho subscription belongs to you from the first day.
With Cascadia you get
- A plan built around the retirement date
- Export gaps found before the deadline
- Triggers rebuilt as Zoho workflow rules
- Support history kept beside the deal
- Your account, your data
- Month to month, no annual contract

Inside the Monthly Management Fee
Our plans are priced by hours of Zoho work, from $250 a month for Essentials, billed monthly with no setup fee and no annual contract. Zoho bills the CRM license separately. For a Sell move, the hours cover the work below.
- Pipeline and stage design from your Sell deal stages
- Migration of Sell leads, contacts, deals, and notes
- Custom fields and layouts for each role
- Rebuilt triggers as Zoho workflow rules and alerts
- Lead scoring built from your closed-won history
- Assignment and routing rules
- Duplicate control and data hygiene
- Email, calendar, and telephony connections
- Roles, profiles, and field level security
- Sales dashboards and changes after launch
Where We Carry the Move
A retiring product is the wrong place to learn a new CRM alone. The work is mostly in the details Zendesk's export does not hand over.
We read the export gap before you hit it
Zendesk states that activity history, appointments, emails, call logs, and documents cannot be exported from Sell (October 2026). We list which of those matter to your team and look for another route before the deadline.
The Deadline Gets a Calendar
Data deletion begins when your Sell subscription ends or on August 31, 2027, whichever is first (October 2026). We set dates for the test import, the cutover, and the day Sell is switched off, then keep to them.
Not Just the One Vendor Zendesk Named
Zendesk's retirement notice points people to Pipedrive (October 2026). That is one option, and a reasonable one. If you also want support, billing, and campaigns beside the CRM, Zoho is worth a look.
The CRM Keeps Working After the Move
A migration weekend is the easy part. Six months later someone must clean duplicates and tune routing. That is the monthly work in our plans.
Who Should Read This Comparison
Teams Still Paying for Sell with No Plan
The product works today, so nothing forces a decision until the calendar does. A plan made now leaves months for a test import and a quiet cutover.
Companies That Run Zendesk Support Too
Sell's pitch was a combined view of sales and service data. After retirement you still want that view. We scope a Zoho connection to Support, or move the service side too if you prefer.
Sales Managers Who Rely on Activity History
Zendesk says the export omits activity history, call logs, and emails (October 2026). If those records drive your coaching, plan for them early rather than at the last export.
Choose Zendesk Sell if
- You are within a few months and ready to run it out
- A rep already chose Pipedrive and migrates themselves
- You need nothing beyond what the export gives you
Choose Cascadia if
- You want a managed plan before the deadline
- Activity history and clean data matter to coaching
- You want sales, support, and billing in one suite
How a Move from Zendesk Sell Runs
- 1
Start the Export, Then Read It
An admin runs the Settings, Data, Export request in Sell. The result arrives as a CSV by secure email link, and Zendesk keeps exports in the panel for 30 days (October 2026). We read it for gaps.
- 2
Decide What Is Worth Keeping
Old deals, abandoned leads, and fields nobody filled in stay behind. What remains is mapped to Zoho modules, and you approve the map.
- 3
Test Import and Rebuild Automation
A sample loads first. Triggers and task automation from Sell are rewritten as Zoho workflow rules, then tested on dummy records.
- 4
Cut Over Well Before the Deadline
Reps switch, we watch the first weeks, and Sell is turned off on a date you chose rather than the date Zendesk chose for you.

Zendesk Sell Alternative Questions
The retirement date, what the export misses, and how the move works.
See Managed Zoho CRMStill have a question?
When is Zendesk Sell going away?
Zendesk will retire Sell on August 31, 2027. The announcement is dated September 9, 2025, and customers keep full access until then (October 2026).
What happens to our data on that date?
Data is deleted under Zendesk's policy when the Sell subscription ends or on August 31, 2027, whichever comes first. Zendesk states that deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed (October 2026).
How do we export from Sell?
An admin or a user with export permission goes to Settings, Data, Export. The file arrives as a CSV through a secure email link and stays in the Export panel for 30 days (October 2026).
What does the Sell export leave out?
Zendesk lists activity history, appointments, emails, call logs, and documents as items that cannot be exported (October 2026). We help you decide which matter, and we look for another way to keep those before you switch Sell off.
What does Zendesk recommend instead?
Its notice suggests exploring Pipedrive, with a free trial, migration tools, and a native Zendesk integration (October 2026). We think Zoho CRM deserves a look too, particularly if you want service, billing, and campaigns nearby.
What did Sell cost?
Zendesk's Sell page lists Team at $19, Growth at $55, Professional at $115, and Enterprise at $169 a month. The page does not mention the retirement, so confirm what is still on sale with Zendesk (October 2026).
Will our Sell triggers carry over?
No, nothing converts automatically. We read each trigger and each task rule, decide whether it is still needed, and rebuild it as a Zoho workflow rule. You approve the list before we build.
Can we keep Zendesk Support and use Zoho CRM?
Yes. Sell's pitch was a combined view of sales and service data (October 2026). We scope a connection between Zoho CRM and your Support account, and tell you what it shows. Some teams decide to move service to Zoho Desk later.
How long do we have to move?
The retirement date is fixed, but the safe window is shorter. Allow time for a test import, a pilot with a few reps, and a final export while Sell is still live. Starting early costs less than a rush.
Do our deal stages and custom fields move?
Yes. Stages become Zoho stages with the same names your reps use. Custom fields are mapped one at a time, and we leave out fields no one filled in. You approve the map before the import.
Can you import deals that closed years ago?
Yes, within what the export holds. History in the CSV is imported with owners and dates. Activity detail that Zendesk says is not exportable needs a separate plan, which we raise at the start.
What does Cascadia charge?
Plans are measured in hours of Zoho work. Essentials is $250 a month for 5 hours, Growth is $500 for 10, and Scale is $1,000 for 20. A migration this size usually sits in a project quote on top, agreed before we start. Zoho bills the CRM license on its own.
Do we need our own Zoho CRM license?
Yes. You hold the Zoho CRM subscription and we work in it as administrators. That matters more for a Sell move than most, because your data should never again depend on another vendor's calendar.
How fast do you reply?
Within two business days. Jobs that fit your remaining monthly hours are finished in the month, and a large cutover is quoted as its own project.
When is it wrong to hire us?
If you have already picked a replacement and a capable admin is running the move, you do not need us. We would rather say that than sell you hours you will not use.
