Inside the Monthly Management Fee
Our plans are priced by hours of Zoho work, from $250 a month for Essentials, billed monthly with no setup fee and no annual contract. Zoho invoices the CRM license separately. The hours go to the following work.
- Pipeline and stage design based on how you sell
- Migration of Copper people, companies, opportunities, and activities
- Duplicate control and data hygiene on a schedule
- Custom fields, modules, and page layouts for each role
- Workflow rules and alerts for follow-ups
- Blueprint process enforcement on key stages
- Assignment and routing rules
- Email, calendar, and telephony connections
- Roles, profiles, and field level security
- Reports and sales dashboards, plus changes as your team shifts
Where We Take Over the Chores
Copper's sidebar does a good job of capturing email. What happens to the pipeline after the capture is where the hours go.
A Contact Cap You Stop Watching
Copper Basic stops at 2,500 contacts and Professional at 15,000 (October 2026). Zoho CRM is sized by your edition and your data, and we keep an eye on the numbers so a growing list does not force a surprise upgrade.
Automation Without a Tier Jump
Workflow automation begins on Copper Professional at $59 a seat on annual billing (October 2026). With us, workflow rules and blueprints are built as part of the service from the first month.
A Straight Answer When Copper Is Enough
A five person team in Gmail with a simple pipeline and under 2,500 contacts can be very happy on Basic. We say so on the first call. You do not need a managed service to fill in a deal stage.
Someone Who Notices the Mess
Stale deals, contacts with no owner, and fields nobody fills in pile up in any CRM. We run the clean-up on a timetable and tell your managers what we removed and why.
Who Should Read This Comparison
Teams About to Cross 2,500 Contacts
Basic ends there. Moving up means Professional at $59 a seat on annual terms (October 2026), and every rep pays the higher price whether or not they use workflows.
Companies Leaving Google Workspace
Copper is built around Gmail. If you are moving to Microsoft 365, Copper's best feature stops being the reason to stay, and a CRM that connects to either mail system fits better.
Owners Tired of Being the CRM Admin
The founder who set up Copper at 3 people is often still the one fixing it at 15. We take over the admin so the founder goes back to selling.
Choose Copper if
- Your team works in Gmail and skips manual logging
- Your list will stay under 2,500 contacts
- Basic's task automation covers your pipeline
Choose Cascadia if
- Contacts or workflow needs are outgrowing Basic
- Nobody has time to keep the CRM clean
- You want Zoho Books, Desk, or Campaigns next to the CRM
How a Move from Copper Runs
- 1
Export and Read Before Deciding
We pull your people, companies, opportunities, and notes out of Copper and look for duplicates, dead leads, and fields that were never used. You get a short list of what we recommend leaving behind.
- 2
Rebuild the Pipeline in Zoho CRM
Copper pipelines become Zoho stages with the same names your reps already say out loud. Custom fields are mapped one by one, and you approve the map before any import.
- 3
Test Import, Then the Real One
A sample of records lands in Zoho first so you can check owners, dates, and attached notes. Once that looks right, the full import runs and the counts are reconciled.
- 4
Connect Mail and Switch the Team Over
Gmail or Microsoft 365 is connected, reps get a short walkthrough, and Copper stays read only for a short overlap before you cancel it.

Copper Alternative Questions
What Copper costs, where its limits fall, and how the move works.
See Managed Zoho CRMStill have a question?
What do Copper's three plans cost?
On annual billing, Basic is $23 per seat a month, Professional is $59, and Business is $99. Monthly billing is $29, $69, and $134. Copper's page says annual billing saves up to 26 percent, and taxes are extra where they apply (October 2026).
What is the contact limit on Copper Basic?
Basic lists a limit of 2,500 contacts. Professional raises it to 15,000, and Business is unlimited. A sales team that has imported an old mailing list can pass 2,500 within a year without noticing (October 2026).
Which Copper plan first includes workflow automation?
Professional does, along with bulk email, reporting, and integrations. Basic has task automation only, so a rule such as assigning new leads by region needs the $59 plan on annual terms (October 2026).
What is on the Business plan that the others lack?
Copper lists email series, custom reports, multi-currency, premium support, and unlimited contacts there. At $99 per seat annually, a ten person team pays $11,880 a year before taxes (October 2026).
Is there a free Copper plan?
No. Copper offers a free trial with no credit card, and the pricing page lists three paid plans after it. We found no free tier on that page (October 2026).
What support does Copper provide?
Live chat with a real person is available in the app, along with a Help Center and office hours with webinars. Personal onboarding and premium support are for eligible Business and Professional annual accounts (October 2026).
Can Zoho CRM do what Copper's Gmail sidebar does?
Mostly yes. Zoho CRM connects to Gmail and Microsoft 365 so mail and meetings log against records. Copper's sidebar is its best idea, and the experience inside the inbox is more polished there. We set up the Zoho connection and test it with your own mailbox.
What happens to our Copper pipelines?
Each pipeline becomes a set of Zoho CRM stages with the names your team already uses. We map custom fields one by one and show you the map before a record moves. Anything nobody used gets left behind on purpose.
How long does a move from Copper take?
It depends on how many records and custom fields you have. A test import comes first, then the full import with counts checked against Copper. We quote bulk migration separately, so you know the cost before we start.
Will we keep our email history?
Contacts, companies, opportunities, and notes are in scope. Email threads that Copper captured live in your Gmail, and the new connection logs mail from the day you switch. We tell you what carries across before you commit.
Why not stay on Copper Basic and run it ourselves?
If your pipeline is simple, your list is under 2,500, and someone enjoys keeping it tidy, stay. The move makes sense when you need workflow rules, when contacts outgrow Basic, or when the person who set it up has left.
What does Cascadia charge, compared with per seat pricing?
Plans are sized by hours of Zoho work rather than seats. Essentials is $250 a month and covers 5 hours, Growth is $500 for 10 hours, and Scale is $1,000 for 20. Nothing is billed up front, and Zoho invoices your CRM license on its own line.
Do we need our own Zoho CRM license?
Yes, and it stays yours. You buy the Zoho CRM subscription, and we log in as an administrator to do the work. Leave us tomorrow and your pipeline, rules, and records are untouched.
How quickly do you answer requests?
Expect an answer within two business days. A request that fits in your remaining hours is finished that month; anything larger is quoted as a project first.
What will Cascadia not do for a Copper team?
We do not run Copper, and we do not promise Copper's Gmail sidebar behaves identically inside Zoho. If Copper already fits and your team is happy, we will tell you to stay.
