ContractWorks alternative
The ContractWorks Alternative with a Team Behind It
ContractWorks is a contract repository with built in e-signature, unlimited users on every plan, and a SOC 2 Type 2 report. It does not publish prices on its pricing page. Zoho Contracts can do more of the lifecycle, but only after someone builds the templates, loads the counsel approved clauses, and routes approvals the way your business sells. Our managed plan does that work each month and keeps the renewal alerts honest, inside a Zoho account you own.
With Cascadia you get
- Approvals matched to your thresholds
- Clauses your counsel approved
- Renewal alerts routed to owners
- Contract data pushed to Books and CRM
- Your account, your agreements
- Plans from $250 a month

Inside the Monthly Plan

- API and custom Deluge development
- Roles, permissions, and access control
- Contract repository and retention rules

What Our Team Takes On
A repository stores what you give it. These are the jobs that sit around it.
Workflow Past the Repository
ContractWorks lists drafting, negotiation, and workflow automation only on Premium, and describes Standard as the core repository (October 2026). We build approvals in Zoho Contracts on your real thresholds.
Connections That Do Not Exist Off the Shelf
Executed contract data going into a finance system Zoho has never heard of is an API job. We write it in Deluge and keep it working.
Licenses Watched, Not Guessed
Zoho Contracts caps contracts, counterparties, and approval workflows by tier, and sells cheaper Lite User seats for people who only approve or sign. We tell you which you need.
A Straight Answer When They Win
ContractWorks includes unlimited users, a SOC 2 Type 2 claim, and 14 day trial (October 2026). If a searchable store is all you want, buy it and skip us.
Who Should Read This Comparison
Teams with a Drive Full of PDFs
You can find a contract only if you remember who handled it. A repository solves that problem, and either option on this page does it for you.
Sales Teams Waiting on Legal
A routine NDA should not queue behind a negotiation. Approval routing with pre-approved language moves ordinary paper through the process quickly.
Companies Already Living in Zoho
If CRM, Books, and WorkDrive hold the rest of the business, a contract tool in the same family can read their data without a bridge in between.
Choose ContractWorks if
- You have many occasional users and want unlimited seats
- Storing, tagging, and signing is the whole job
- You want a vendor run repository with SOC 2 Type 2
Choose Cascadia if
- Approvals must follow your real thresholds
- Contract data has to reach CRM, Books, or finance
- Clauses should stay current with your counsel
How Our Service Starts
- 1
We Look at What You Sign
Agreement types, volumes, and who approves each. That decides whether a repository would be enough.
- 2
We Map the Templates and Clauses
With your counsel's approved language, we build the clause library and contract types before anything is imported.
- 3
We Set Approvals and Signature
Routing follows your thresholds, and signature fields sit in the templates. Zoho Sign is configured at the same time.
- 4
We Connect and Keep It Running
CRM and your other systems are linked, historical agreements are imported, and onboarding usually takes three to four weeks.
How ContractWorks Works
ContractWorks Plans and Limits
ContractWorks shows plan names and limits and no dollar amounts on the pages we could read. Everything below came from its own pricing and home pages in October 2026.

ContractWorks Alternative Questions
What ContractWorks includes, where its pricing page stops, and what our monthly plan adds.
See Managed Zoho ContractsStill have a question?
What does ContractWorks cost?
Its pricing page shows Starting at for each of Standard, Professional, and Premium, but the dollar amounts did not appear when we read it in October 2026. All three are billed annually. Ask for a written quote before you compare.
How many users does ContractWorks allow?
Unlimited. Every plan includes unlimited users, and the home page repeats that your whole team can be invited (October 2026). That favors firms with many occasional viewers.
What are the document limits?
Standard allows 2,500 documents, Professional allows 10,000, and Premium allows unlimited documents. The page does not state a storage cap (October 2026).
How does ContractWorks handle e-signature?
It is built in. Standard has 5 licenses, Professional has 10, and Premium has 20. Extra licenses cost $1,200 a year per pack of five, and recipients sign free (October 2026). The FAQ uses different plan names, so confirm which applies.
What is different about Premium?
Premium adds drafting, redlining, and workflows, described as scaling to full contract lifecycle management. Standard is described as the core repository with AI tagging, alerts, reports, and eSignature (October 2026).
What happens to our documents if we leave ContractWorks?
You can bulk download documents at any time. After you cancel and confirm you are fully off the system, records are deleted within 30 days (October 2026). Do the export before you confirm.
What support does ContractWorks provide?
The pages list a support email and a sales line and say subscriptions start with an account manager. Support hours and tiers were not stated in the pages we read (October 2026).
Does ContractWorks have a free trial?
Yes, 14 days, and the trial converts to the Standard license with contracts, tags, alerts, and users carried over. A separate FAQ mentions a two week trial for drafting and workflows (October 2026).
Why not stay with ContractWorks and add our service?
Our work is on Zoho Contracts, so it would sit beside ContractWorks only during a migration. If you are happy with a repository, there is nothing for us to configure.
What does our monthly plan cost?
Plans start at $250 a month, plus your own Zoho Contracts license, which Zoho bills directly. A plan covers 250 active contracts and up to 20 users, and bulk imports or large API builds are quoted separately.
Can you move our ContractWorks library into Zoho Contracts?
Yes. ContractWorks says you can bulk download documents, and we import them as historical agreements with their tags mapped to contract types. Large imports are scoped separately from the monthly plan.
Do we own the Zoho Contracts account?
Yes. The subscription, templates, clause library, and every executed agreement belong to your company. If you leave us, nothing sits behind our logins.
Does this replace our lawyer?
No. We are not a law firm, so wording and fallback positions stay with your counsel. We build their choices into the templates.
How long until we are running?
Most teams are running within three to four weeks of starting. Historical imports run alongside and can take longer. The subscription is monthly with no long term commitment.
When is ContractWorks the better answer?
When you have many people who only need to look things up, a modest approval need, and no wish to depend on a service provider. Its unlimited users and bundled signature suit that case.
