What Ships in the Standard Plan Here
All-In-One Security gives you a firewall, brute force protection, login lockout, and two-factor sign-in, with country blocking and malware scanning on Premium. Everything it does happens on your own server, and its settings are yours to choose and revisit.
- Firewall rules written for how your site is actually used
- Rules for wp-login and xmlrpc set at the edge
- Bot protection and rate limiting configured, not left on defaults
- Caching tuned so logged-in pages and checkout still work
- HTTPS enforced and the TLS minimum kept current
- Nine settings compared every morning against what we set
- A change you did not make put back by us
- Nothing installed on your website
- 90 days of daily history, so you can see what changed and when
- Your account stays yours, and our access can be withdrawn
Where Cascadia Goes Further
A plugin hardens the site. The edge decides what reaches the site, and somebody has to set those rules and keep checking them.
Requests Stopped Before Your Host Answers
Login floods, scanners, and scrapers are turned away at the edge, so your server does not spend time refusing them.
Country Rules Without the Risk
Country and ASN rules are added only where they help, and anything that could block real customers is explained to you before it goes on.
Caching and TLS Set Properly
Caching tuned so logged-in pages and checkout still work, HTTPS enforced, and the TLS minimum kept current.
A Daily Check of the Settings
Nine settings are compared every morning with what we set. A change you did not make is put back and reported the next day.
Who This Comparison Is For
AIOS Hardens the Inside of WordPress
Brute force protection, login lockout, and basic two-factor login are in the free plugin, with enhanced two-factor and country blocking on Premium. We do not change WordPress settings at all.
Server Level Is Still Your Server
The plugin describes its firewall as blocking malicious requests at the server level. That is better than leaving it all to WordPress, and the request has still reached your host.
The First Year Is Half Price
Premium plans are discounted for the first year, then renew at $89, $149, $249, or $349 a year depending on how many sites they cover (October 2026).
Choose All-In-One Security if
- You want free WordPress hardening
- Two-factor login is the priority
- Someone on staff manages the settings
Choose Cascadia if
- You want traffic stopped before your server
- Nobody is checking the edge settings
- You want caching and TLS set properly
Adding Edge Protection to a Site That Runs All-In-One Security
The plugin stays where it is. Edge Protection installs nothing on the site, so the two work in different places.
- 1
We Read Your Current Edge Settings
We look at what is live and tell you what needs fixing, such as development mode left on or an outdated TLS minimum.
- 2
We Write the Rules for Your Site
Login and xmlrpc paths, rate limits, bot protection, and exceptions for the tools you use, with risky rules explained before they go on.
- 3
We Tune Caching and TLS
Caching is set to how the site is built, browser cache is set sensibly, and HTTPS is enforced.
- 4
Then the Daily Comparison Runs
Every morning the live settings are compared with what we set, and the monthly report covers the month just ended.

See Edge ProtectionStill have a question?
What is an All-In-One Security alternative?
Any other way to protect a WordPress site. Plugins such as Wordfence and CleanTalk, virtual patching from Patchstack, cloud firewalls such as Sucuri, and managed services like this one, which configure the edge in front of the site.
How is Cascadia different from All-In-One Security?
All-In-One Security is a plugin that hardens WordPress from inside: a firewall, login lockout, two-factor sign-in, and more. We work at the edge, before requests reach your server. We set firewall rules, bot protection, rate limiting, caching, and TLS for how your site is used, and compare nine settings every morning against what we set.
How much does All-In-One Security cost?
The core plugin is free. Premium renews at $89 a year for up to two sites, $149 for up to ten, $249 for up to 35, and $349 for unlimited sites, with the first year discounted (October 2026). Edge Protection is $49 a month per domain.
Does All-In-One Security do anything you do not?
Yes. Two-factor login, login lockout, and other WordPress hardening, plus weekly malware scanning on Premium. We do none of that.
Should I keep the plugin if I use Edge Protection?
If you rely on its login hardening or two-factor sign-in, yes. Edge Protection installs nothing on the site, so the two do not overlap.
Will an edge rule block my own customers?
That is what we plan around. Country rules and aggressive rate limits are explained before they go on, exceptions are written for the tools you use, and good bots are let through.
What happens when a setting drifts?
You hear about it the next morning in a ticket naming the setting and its previous value. If the change was not yours, we put it back.
Do you need access to my website?
No. We work in your edge account through an invitation you can withdraw at any time.
Is this worth it for a small site?
A small site is where the edge is most often left as it came, and a misconfigured edge stays invisible until it blocks your own checkout or fails a card payment. Nothing is installed, so there is no overhead in running it.
Do I need managed hosting to buy this?
No. It runs as a standalone monthly service on whatever hosting you already use, and it is also part of Domain Pro at $59 a month per domain.
How quickly does setup start?
Setup starts within two business days, and the first full picture of your settings arrives within a week.
What if I want to leave?
Withdraw our access. The edge account is yours, and every change we made is recorded.
Ready to stop traffic before WordPress has to?
Forty-nine dollars a month per domain, with the edge configured for your site and compared against what we set every morning.
