A Valimail Alternative with a Price You Can Read Before Calling
Valimail Monitor is free across unlimited domains, and its Enforce plans are quoted on request (October 2026). Valimail automates a great deal and sells mostly to larger organizations. We are a published monthly price per domain, with a person doing the work.
With Cascadia you get
- Price published per domain
- No sales call to start
- Every sender found first
- Reports read every week
- Enforcement when it is safe
- Records stay in your DNS

What Ships in the Standard Plan Here
Valimail Monitor gives you free sender discovery and DMARC status. Enforcement is a paid product, quoted by sales, with automation that authorizes services for you once you are a customer.
- Every service that sends as you, found before anything is published
- One SPF record, kept inside its lookup limit
- DKIM signing set up for each sender, keys published by us
- DMARC moved to quarantine, then reject, once your real mail passes
- Reports gathered, parsed, and read for you every week
- Every published record and DKIM selector checked daily
- Unauthorized senders using your domain, surfaced to you
- Alignment problems explained in plain words
- 90 days of history, day by day
- A monthly report written for people, not for a dashboard
Where Cascadia Fits Better
Valimail's automation is impressive. Our case is simpler: a known price, a short setup, and somebody you can write to.
You Know the Price Today
Twenty nine dollars a month per domain, on the page. Valimail's Enforce tiers are all custom quotes, which is normal at the enterprise end and slow for a small business.
Monitoring Turns into Enforcement
Valimail Monitor is a discovery tool and stops short of enforcement. Our standard plan carries DMARC through quarantine to reject.
Records Live in Your Own DNS
We publish SPF, DKIM, and DMARC directly on your domain. There is nothing for you to unwind if you leave.
A Person Reads the Reports
Automation catches a lot. A weekly note from someone who knows your senders catches the odd thing automation files as normal.
Who This Comparison Is For
Monitor Is a Good Free Start
Unlimited domains, sender discovery by name, and a readiness check against Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo requirements, at no cost. Worth running regardless.
Big Estates Belong There
Hundreds of domains, FedRAMP needs, or SSO across a security team are what Valimail is built for, and we are not.
Automation Has a Price Tag
Enforce is quoted, not listed. If you need a figure for a budget meeting this week, that matters.
Choose Valimail if
- You hold many domains and need enterprise controls
- FedRAMP or SSO is a requirement
- You want free monitoring before deciding anything
Choose Cascadia if
- You want a published price and no sales cycle
- A handful of domains, and nobody to run them
- You want a person reading your reports each week
Moving from Valimail in Four Steps
If you only ran Monitor, there is little to undo. If Valimail hosts records for you, we replace them carefully.
- 1
We Read What Is Published
Your current SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, anything hosted on your behalf, and the senders Valimail has already named for you.
- 2
We Publish Records You Own
One SPF record inside its lookup limit and DKIM for each sender, written directly into your DNS.
- 3
DMARC Holds at Monitoring
Reports come to us, and the policy stays at monitoring until we have seen your real mail pass with our own eyes.
- 4
Enforcement, Then Quiet
Quarantine first, reject after, then a weekly note and a monthly report that are mostly short.

What is a Valimail alternative?
Any other route to enforced DMARC: platforms such as Red Sift OnDMARC, EasyDMARC, and dmarcian, doing it by hand, or a managed service like this one.
How is Cascadia different from Valimail?
Valimail sells automation software, mostly to larger organizations, with pricing by quote. We sell the work itself at a published monthly price per domain, and a person does it.
Is Valimail Monitor really free?
Yes. Monitor covers unlimited domains and up to five users, with sender discovery and DMARC status (October 2026). It does not take you to enforcement; that is the paid Enforce product.
How much does Valimail Enforce cost?
Valimail does not publish it. All three Enforce tiers are custom quotes (October 2026), so we cannot give you a number.
Is Valimail faster to enforcement?
Valimail says its platform gets you there four times faster than any other. We cannot test that claim. Our pace is set by your reports, and we move as soon as your real mail passes.
Can we keep Monitor and use you?
Yes. Monitor is free and read-only, and running it alongside us does no harm. Many people like a second view.
Do you need access to our website or our mailboxes?
No. We need your DNS and about ten minutes of your time to list the services you know send as you. Nothing is installed on your website and nobody here reads your mail.
Will switching break our email?
It should not, and the order of work is what keeps it that way. SPF is cleaned up and kept inside its lookup limit first, then DKIM is set up for every sender, then DMARC goes in at monitoring. Nothing is enforced until the reports show your real mail passing.
Do you support SSO or FedRAMP?
No. Those are enterprise requirements and Valimail is the right call if you have them.
How long do you keep history?
Ninety days, day by day, so you can see what any record said on any date in that window.
What if I want to leave?
It is monthly, so you stop at the end of a month. The records stay published in your DNS, because they were always on your domain and never on ours. We will tell you what is published and why, so whoever picks it up next, Valimail included, starts from a clean record rather than a guess.
Ready for a price you can read?
Twenty nine dollars a month per domain. If you also want your application mail sent and its delivery watched, Email Pro bundles Transactional Email, Email Authentication, and Deliverability Monitoring for $79 a month per domain.
