dmarcian alternative
A Dmarcian Alternative for Teams Who Never Want to Learn DMARC
dmarcian Basic is $24 a month for up to two domains (October 2026), and the company was founded by one of the people who wrote the DMARC specification. It is a serious tool for people who want to understand their mail. We are for the people who would rather not.
With Cascadia you get
- No course to take first
- Senders found and signed
- Reports read every week

What Ships in the Standard Plan Here
dmarcian gives you report processing, SPF and DKIM inspection tools, and a deep library of guidance. Deployment help is a separate service with an expert, and it still ends with your team running the platform.
- Every service that sends as you, found before anything is published
- One SPF record, kept inside its lookup limit
- DKIM signing set up for each sender, keys published by us
- DMARC moved to quarantine, then reject, once your real mail passes
- Reports gathered, parsed, and read for you every week
- Every published record and DKIM selector checked daily
- Unauthorized senders using your domain, surfaced to you
- Alignment problems explained in plain words
- 90 days of history, day by day
- A monthly report written for people, not for a dashboard
Where Cascadia Goes Further
We do not compete with dmarcian on depth of tooling. We compete on who does the work after the reports arrive.
Nobody on Your Side Needs Training
dmarcian's deployment service runs four one-hour sessions, starting with SMTP fundamentals. It is good teaching. We assume you would rather spend those four hours on your own business.
The Senders Get Fixed, Not Just Found
Finding a sender that fails alignment is the start. Getting DKIM set up for it, and published in your DNS, is the part we do.
Enforcement Is Our Decision to Defend
We move to quarantine and then reject when the reports show your real mail passing, and we put the reasoning in writing.
One Price per Domain, Monthly
There is no jump between tiers when you add a third domain. Each domain costs the same, billed monthly.
Who This Comparison Is For
dmarcian Is Built by the People Who Wrote DMARC
That shows. If you want to understand exactly why a message failed, few tools explain it better.
The Free Plan Is Real
Personal covers up to two domains and 1,250 messages a month at no cost. For a small personal domain that is more than enough.
Plan Steps Are Large
Basic stops at two domains. Plus, at $240 a month for eight, is where forensic reports and user controls begin (October 2026).
Choose dmarcian if
- Someone on your team wants to master DMARC
- You need forensic reports or long history
- A free plan for a personal domain is enough
Choose Cascadia if
- Nobody wants to learn DMARC
- You want failing senders fixed, not just shown
- You want enforcement decided and explained for you
Moving from Dmarcian in Four Steps
Your DMARC record mostly stays as it is. What changes is where the reports go and who reads them.
- 1
We Start with What Dmarcian Already Shows
The sources your account has seen, what passes, and what does not. That is a useful head start and we take it.
- 2
We Clean up SPF and Set up DKIM
One SPF record inside its lookup limit, and DKIM for each sender you actually use, all published by us.
- 3
The Reports Come to Us
Your DMARC record is updated so aggregate reports reach us, and we hold at monitoring until we have seen enough of them ourselves.
- 4
Quarantine, Then Reject
When your real mail passes, the policy tightens in two steps. Each one is explained in the weekly note.

What is a dmarcian alternative?
Any other way of getting SPF, DKIM, and DMARC published and enforced. That covers platforms such as EasyDMARC, DMARCLY, and Valimail, the do-it-yourself route, and managed services like this one.
How is Cascadia different from dmarcian?
dmarcian sells a platform, training, and expert sessions so your team can run DMARC well. We run it. You get a weekly note and a monthly report instead of a login.
Is dmarcian cheaper?
For two domains on Basic, yes: $24 a month against our $58 for two (October 2026). dmarcian is the better buy if somebody on your side will use it.
What does dmarcian's deployment service include?
Four one-hour sessions with a dmarcian expert covering fundamentals, platform training, source remediation, and maintenance. It requires a platform subscription, and the price is not published.
Do you process forensic reports?
Our service page covers aggregate reports, gathered and parsed for you. dmarcian adds forensic report processing on Plus and Enterprise, so if you rely on those, keep that in mind.
How long do you keep history?
Ninety days, day by day. dmarcian keeps three months on Basic, a year on Plus, and unlimited on Enterprise (October 2026).
Do you need access to our website or our mailboxes?
No. We need your DNS and about ten minutes of your time to list the services you know send as you. Nothing is installed on your website and nobody here reads your mail.
Will switching break our email?
It should not, and the order of work is what keeps it that way. SPF is cleaned up and kept inside its lookup limit first, then DKIM is set up for every sender, then DMARC goes in at monitoring. Nothing is enforced until the reports show your real mail passing.
Should we just use the free plan?
If you have one or two small domains and enjoy reading the data, yes. The free plan is generous and honest. It still leaves enforcement with you.
Can you work for an agency?
Yes. We run the technical work under your brand and provide reporting you can pass straight to a client.
What if I want to leave?
It is monthly, so you stop at the end of a month. The records stay published in your DNS, because they were always on your domain and never on ours. We will tell you what is published and why, so whoever picks it up next, dmarcian included, starts from a clean record rather than a guess.
Ready to stop reading DMARC reports?
Twenty nine dollars a month per domain. If you also want your application mail sent and its delivery watched, Email Pro bundles Transactional Email, Email Authentication, and Deliverability Monitoring for $79 a month per domain.
