The one number they do publish governs the API

APIs are documented at up to one hundred requests a minute per site. It is the single figure committed to in writing anywhere on the plans page, and it is worth noticing what it is not.

The packaged AI tooling is further along than ours

An assistant, AI assisted authoring, AI playlists, and machine video tagging and assessment are all packaged and sold today. We can build against Frappe Learning, and we would not pretend to match that list as it stands.

Somebody in your business knows which certificates expire, who chases them, and what happens when one lapses. That conversation comes first, because it is what the configuration has to satisfy and it is almost never written down anywhere.

What is a Litmos alternative?

Anything that can hold the training record and enforce the rules around it. That takes in the other platforms on this hub, meaning TalentLMS, Docebo, LearnUpon, 360Learning and Moodle, the spreadsheet a surprising number of businesses still rely on, and open source systems such as Frappe Learning. The first thing worth working out is how much of their compliance grid you would genuinely switch on.

How is Cascadia different from Litmos?

Litmos is a finished compliance platform you licence after a quote. Cascadia is a system somebody builds for you. We shape enrolment, approvals, assessment and certification expiry around the process you already run, host it on Frappe Cloud and look after it afterwards. The price is settled before the conversation rather than during it.

What does Litmos actually cost?

We cannot tell you and neither can their website. Foundation, Platinum and Platinum AI all read Contact for Pricing, with no figure, no band and no starting point published anywhere on the plans page. Cascadia is six hundred dollars a month for Standard and twelve hundred for Priority, written here, and it does not move with headcount.

Is Litmos cheaper than this?

It might well be, and we have no way of knowing. At a few thousand learners a seat based platform can work out well, and if that is your size their quote deserves a fair hearing. What we would say is that a number you cannot see is not the same thing as a number that is low.

Does Frappe Learning come with any courses?

No, and it is the plainest limit on this page. Frappe Learning delivers, tracks and certifies training and ships no course material whatsoever. Litmos sells content libraries alongside the platform. Here the courses are yours to write, or to buy from somebody else.

Why not install Frappe Learning and run it ourselves?

You can, and there is no licence to buy. Getting it running is quick. What takes the time is deciding how expiry works, who approves what, which courses count as equivalent to which, and what an auditor is going to be shown. None of that is in the documentation.

Should we buy this at all?

Often not. If you are a regulated business that will use signatures, escalations, equivalencies and continuing education credits from the first week, Litmos has already built every one of them and buying beats building. The fit review exists to reach that answer honestly and it costs nothing.

Will Litmos give us a price if we simply ask?

Almost certainly, after a demo and a scoping call. The difficulty is not that a figure exists somewhere. It is that you cannot get one at the stage where you are still deciding whether to shortlist them, and that is the cost a quote model pushes onto the buyer.

Do we have to migrate everything at once?

No, and staging it is usually the better idea. Live certification status and the current learner list cross first, because those are what somebody needs on Monday morning. Historic completions, course material and assessment history follow at whatever pace the training calendar allows.

Does anything break while you take over?

No. Nobody loses a certificate they are currently holding and mandatory training does not pause. We migrate into a copy, and the cut across waits until the completion counts match on both sides.

What if we already run Frappe Learning and it was set up badly?

It happens more often than you would expect, and the work is a rebuild rather than a tidy up. We read the course structure, the batches, the assessment rules, the certification settings and whatever anybody customized, then say which of it should stand and which should be built again.

Do you own the system or the data?

You do, on both counts. Frappe Learning is open source, the instance and the database sit in your name, and the courses, certificates and custom fields we build are yours as well. If you stopped paying us tomorrow every part of it would keep working.

What is included at each tier?

Standard buys implementation, configuration, data migration, handover, customization, development work, Frappe Cloud hosting and support that does not stop. Priority adds a second concurrent request, quicker turnaround and a quarterly review. Neither one meters learners, courses or logins.

What if we only need three of their compliance features?

Then you are the reason this page exists. A platform is priced and sold whole, so three rules and thirty rules arrive on the same invoice. We build the three you use, leave the rest of the surface switched off, and the monthly figure reads the same either way.

What does the monthly report actually contain?

The month's changes, what we built or configured, anything that still looks fragile and what we intend to do about it. Upstream Frappe Learning release notes that will affect you go in as well. The month runs from your start date rather than the calendar.

What if I want to leave?

Thirty days notice, and there is no disentangling to do. You already hold the instance, the database and the configuration, so nothing needs exporting and nothing needs handing back. What ends is our involvement.
