Telnyx alternative

A Managed Alternative To Telnyx

Two-way conversation that stays inside Zoho. Replies land on the record, and nothing about your customers leaves your own Zoho account: no vendor dashboard, no copy of your data, no phone home. Message one person or a whole list, and every reply lands back on the record in SMS History.

With Cascadia you get

Nothing phones home
The reply comes back
You bring the Twilio account
Personalized at any volume
It finds all the phone fields
History follows the record

What changes once we run it

The usual connector earns its place by holding your customer data on a platform you do not control. This extension takes the opposite approach: it runs inside your own Zoho CRM on your own Twilio account, every reply lands back on the record in SMS History, and nothing is ever sent to us.

You bring the Twilio account

You connect your own Twilio account, so message costs are billed to you at Twilio prices with nobody in the middle taking a cut.

Personalized at any volume

Dynamic text pulls values out of the record as each message is sent.

It finds all the phone fields

Records rarely hold a single phone number. The extension detects every phone field on a lead or contact, including custom ones, and lets you choose which to text.

History follows the record

Convert a lead into a contact and the message history comes with it.

Who this comparison is for

Sales teams chasing warm leads

Reps can message a lead from the record they are already working in. The back and forth stays on that lead, so whoever picks it up next knows where things were left.

Service teams confirming and rescheduling appointments

Schedule the send for the day before. When somebody replies asking to move the slot, that request lands on their contact rather than in a shared inbox nobody owns.

Sales teams answering customer data questions

Sales data attracts questions. Where do the phone numbers live, who else can read the conversation, and which processor touched it on the way.

From install to first message

Four steps, and none of them involve standing anything up. You install the extension from the Zoho Marketplace and connect your Twilio credentials.

  1. 1

    We assess your current setup

First we look at how things run today: what you already pay for, what is configured where, and which parts are actually causing you trouble.

  2. 2

    Install from the Zoho Marketplace

A ten day free trial gives you time to put it through real work before deciding.

  3. 3

    Connect your own Twilio account

Your Twilio credentials go into the setup screen, and you pick the numbers you want to send from.

  4. 4

Text a record and watch the reply land

Select several records to send in bulk, or schedule it for later. Every reply is written back to SMS History against the person who sent it.

The difference that matters

No second account, no second system

Both options give you two-way texting on your Zoho CRM records, and on paper the feature lists look similar. The difference is architectural. Telnyx is a communications platform you sign up for, and every message runs through your Telnyx account. Ours is built in Deluge and runs inside your own Zoho account against your own Twilio credentials, so there is no Telnyx account to hold, no vendor dashboard to log into, and no copy of your customer data anywhere but Zoho.

If your objection to texting from Zoho CRM has ever been “who else ends up holding this data”, that is the question this answers.

How Telnyx works

What Telnyx does, in their own words

Telnyx is a licensed carrier and communications platform with SMS, voice and voice AI APIs. For a Zoho comparison, the relevant question is what sits between the two.

A Zoho CRM sync existsTelnyx launched a native Zoho CRM integration in January 2026 that creates and updates leads, contacts, accounts and deals from Telnyx call and message events.
It runs on a Telnyx accountRequests are authenticated with a Telnyx API key created in the Mission Control Portal, so a Telnyx account sits alongside your Zoho account.
It is set up on the Telnyx sideThe integration is configured in the Telnyx Mission Control Portal and authorized against your Zoho CRM API access, so the workflow lives in Telnyx rather than inside Zoho.
Focused on record syncIts release notes center on keeping CRM records current from call and SMS events, such as creating leads from inbound messages and moving deal stages.
Voice as well as SMSThe platform covers voice, SIP trunking and voice AI agents alongside messaging.
Built for developersTelnyx describes itself as infrastructure for realtime agents, with more than 50 building blocks developers compose into their own stack.

Telnyx alternative questions

Straight answers about switching, pricing, and what moves with you.
How is Cascadia different from Telnyx?
The main difference is who pays Twilio, and at what price. You connect your own Twilio account, so message costs are billed to you at Twilio prices with nobody in the middle taking a cut. Your numbers stay yours, your delivery logs stay in your console, and you can move providers without asking our permission first.
No. The extension is built in Deluge and runs inside your own Zoho account, using your own Twilio credentials. Message content stays in your SMS History module, and we have no access to it.
Select the records you want, compose the message once, and everybody selected receives it. Each send is logged against that individual record. Nothing lands in one shared pile you have to untangle afterward. You can also send to a saved list or view, which is easier when the same group gets messaged on a regular basis.
In the SMS History module, as a new entry linked to the record that replied, with nothing to copy across and no separate inbox to check. Because the history is attached to the record itself, anyone who picks up that account later can read the full exchange without asking around for context.
No. The extension has no phone home capability. It runs inside your Zoho environment and does not transmit your records, phone numbers, or message content to us. We hold no copy of any of it, and there is no vendor side dashboard collecting data in the background. This is the main structural difference between this extension and most alternatives.
Entirely on the Zoho platform, written in Deluge, with no embedded third party interface and no external web application anywhere in the path. Everything happens inside your own CRM deployment, which keeps the data boundary simple to explain to a security reviewer or an auditor.
That is what dynamic text is for. It pulls values straight out of Zoho CRM and drops them into the message body when it is sent. First name, appointment time, invoice number, or any other field on the record can be used, so a message going out to two hundred people still reads as though it was written for each one individually.
Templates handle that. Save the messages you send most often and pick one instead of typing it again. They work alongside dynamic fields, so a saved message still fills in each recipient’s own details at send time, which takes most of the retyping out of routine reminders, confirmations, and follow ups.
The extension detects every phone field on the record rather than assuming a single default. If a lead or contact has ten numbers on file, all ten are available. You pick the ones you want to text. That matters most on records where the mobile number sits in a custom field rather than the standard one.
Compose it now and set the date and time it should go out. The send happens at the moment you chose rather than the moment you were at your desk. That helps with time zones, business hours, and anything that needs to land on a particular day, such as a renewal reminder.
The message history maps across with the conversion, so the conversation stays attached to the record. Nothing is stranded on the lead you just converted. That keeps the full exchange readable from first outreach through to an ongoing customer relationship, which is usually exactly the point at which somebody needs to look it up.
